This doesn't look good for a general theatrical release - this site says it has been given a release date for the DVD but can't disclose it until 26 January (but estimates April 2009): videoeta.com/movie/111509On the other hand, at least we get our mitts on it sooner than we expected!

GE2 do you think the subject matter had something to do with it? It's a pretty dark film and studios aren't keen on releasing downbeat films. A pity really. It looked good. Perhaps thy might release it in smaller venues, art houses or something like that.

I don't know - maybe it's to do with how graphic it gets, or the fact it begins with references to the tsunami, or perhaps just the economic downturn.....could be anything.
It's not like it's got universally bad reviews - on the contrary, some have been glowing. And controversy never stopped other films getting a theatrical release.
Yes, it does look like it's destined for arthouse screenings. Personally, I'm delighted if it goes to DVD in April, given that I don't think I would actually want to see this in the cinema, anyway (ditto "Downloading Nancy"). Plus, we usually have to wait months after theatre screenings for DVD releases, and I want to see it as soon as I can!

I don't think I could watch it no matter how eerily surreal it's suppose to be.

hey, i did not even check that... but then i ordered from amazon canada, i guess they would not do that to me. with all the money i sent them lately. ouh that is exciting. cant wait to see this. however, i must tell you people, i am not altogether reassured about the french actress. i never liked her much, i think there is only one movie i did not feel like throwing tomatoes at the screen whenever she was on it, it was a movie with gerard depardieu, but who knows, the rufus factor might work on her.

She looked much nicer before the plastic surgery that left her with a "trout pout" (miaow!)

wasn't she always like that? if there was surgery, maybe that was not necessary, she has never been the nicest person, pouting enough as she was

She looked much nicer before the plastic surgery that left her with a "trout pout" (miaow!) Yes, they're very distracting, and hard to ignore. Full lips are sexy when they're NATURAL. Otherwise, they look almost 'hard' and like they're ready to burst at any given moment.

Cover art for the DVD. www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/topnews.php?id=9636He looks HOT, as usual, although this isn't a movie I'm likely to watch. (Not a big fan horror, particularly disturbing horror.) Maybe somebody else would know how to post the actual picture?
