No, been really busy what with work, renovating the house etc. No fires near us thank goodness but yesterday was the anniversary of the fires which burned out 500 homes on our western side. Hard to believe.
I have been keeping up with the EH episodes though and have now developed some skills in <cough> torrenting<cough>

Rufus is actually only the second actor I have ever followed this intently. The other actor is and was Roy Dupuis.
By the way, I have been to Quebec many times for hockey games and also to attend charity events.

OH MY GOD, HARMONIE I LOVE ROY. iam amazed to meet someone here who knows of him.
he is such a great guy too. if you ever get to meet him, he is the nicest guy ever, makes everyone at ease and is just decent. big hearted - he is president of a an ecology group here, lobbying against abusive use of quebec rivers for electricity, and to preserve environment of small communities.
he is amazingly talented. an impossibly good actor. he plays cello as well! and is dream is to just travel the world in his boat with his girlfriend - who is one amazing actor as well.
lately he went back to the stage, but he was not so well rated, unfortunately.
in movies he chooses who he wants to work with, and tends to be tempted by smaller projects (reminds you of someone else?). although his last big roles were of hockey legend maurice richard, and general romeo dallaire, and these were quite big hits here. for the right reasons too, he was unbelievable, so true to the characters, so full of respect for them.
he is famous for not liking to talk to medias. in fact, he is a man of so little words, he often makes an awkward interviewee. but, boy, when he has something to say... he goes straight to the heart.
another one who should be at the top, imho, on the international level, but who certainly would not want to be there, and i so admire him for being true to his own heart.
ok, so, there you go. i guess i am really a fan at heart after all.

I have met him many times.
In a lot of ways, Rufus does remind me of Roy.

i definitely agree.
they are true artists, for one thing. so they do what they do for the right reasons.
and they both have the most gorgeous green eyes too.
