Hi! I'm Vittoria from Vancouver BC. New fan of Mr. Sewell--- those eyes! : ! I became aware of him via The Eleventh Hour. Great show! Today I watched 9/11 Out of the Blue and that impressed me deeply. A bit about me: from a family of entertainers and artists, sing and write poetry and lyrics, play around with keyboards and compose a bit, love various genres of music but especially cyberpunk- industrial and goth, into sci-fi fantasy and action films and my fave theme is vampires...hmmm... although I'm 43 I still get carded for cigarettes sometimes (pet peeve). I have been generously described as eccentric, intelligent, beautiful, mysterious and powerful but I fear I can be rather silly at times. Oh well. Anyhoooo... not sure how often I will be logged in, but just thought I would stop by, say "hi" and meander through the boards here. Here I go.... weeeeeeee .. Oops.. slipped on the way out. ... I drink far too much coffee....

Vittoria, welcome, you have very varied tastes, have you seen Dark City yet, I bet you'd like it. Check out the director's cut though, far superior to the original theatrical release. Have fun exploring and don't forget to check out roofsewel.com for amazing pics and clips.

robbieshiek! ! Mille grazie! What a beautiful man he is! Also the more I watch vid clips and hear his voice and what he says, the more I feel that way. Welcome, Vittoria! You say YOU can be silly - have you read many threads here yet? ?? I'm sure you'll fit right on in! Oh, and the slipping on the way out? Rufus-trap. Once we've gotcha, we don't let go.....LOL! ROTFLMAO! Hmmmm... Well I guess I better stay lest the Rufus Police come after me. ... WAIT! Maybe I should try to run..... Nah! Not sure if there is a thread about this... but here are my two MySpace profiles (On MySpace I am known as Lily due to my past volunteer promo work Musical Mafia Manifesto): Personal : www.myspace.com/benedictine_marians ... originally created when I was studying the Catholic religion- hence the url name. If you want to add me as a friend, this is the profile in which to do so. Just let me know you are from the ProBoards. Has photos of me with various hair styles, body weight, clothing styles... list of my Folio Society books etc. Typical profile I suppose. Musical Mafia Manifesto (my pet project a couple of years ago---includes interviews I conducted with alternative rock musicians from Italy- Snuff Mazend and Kubrick are the funniest I think): www.myspace.com/musicalmafiamanifesto I hope you get a good laugh here and there! I am really enjoying this proboards forum. Thanks for being so welcoming!

vittoria, you sound like one interesting person!!!! i just am in awe at the range of your interests. regular renaissance woman, hey?? (thanks for the beer, and i kind of need that tuque, its -16 again today) all i have to show back is a measly flickr page but you're welcome to it www.flickr.com/photos/16407757@N00/you will see some of my altered art, collages, painting and silly attempts at photographing flowers of which i am a huge fan - but that will be obvious. .to whole group: this is uncanny. i uploaded the rufus altered photos to my flickr page, as you may know. my other work brought 3, 5, 10 viewings at most. "rufus à la klimt", so far, brought a whopping 244 viewers to my page. shomehow, i get the message that it was not my work that interested visitors, but that face. dammit. does this guy need to crush my artistic aspirations? i am beginning not to like rufus that much after all! robbie: this photograph should be reported as a lethal weapon. however, i also wrote unesco, this guy should be registered as a world heritage treasure. thank you for this saturday morning heart attack.

Welcome, Vittoria! Being infected with the Rufus bug is less painful than you might expect. Hope you have fun here. Be careful in the games threads, though. These gals are so witty and fast that it's easy to get trampled!

Hi Vittoria! I'm Ambra and I'm fairly new here too. I know what you mean by spending a little too much on Rufus dvds. I only knew Rufus' work from EH so I've been trying to catch up; trust me, you'll have a ball doing the same!

Vittoria, You realize of course there is no turning back after you've been here, we're all a little preoccupied here, some more than most, as you will soon find out. Anyway have fun and leave all cares behind.
