yeah actually I'm starting to look forward to it to.
No matter what, it should be interesting.
This could be the reason we've heard no word on the rest of the cast yet--

Whatever happens, it should be interesting but obviously I wouldn't be thrilled if Rufus dropped out. If it's one of the other Equity 'exchange students', that could lead to other interesting developments. If it's one of the Americans, whatever, we didn't know who they were to begin with

This could be huge in his career. I'd say he'd be the last person you should worry about, but again, S**t happens so in light of any concrete information I'd hope for the best and plan for the worst. (personally, my money is on Brian Cox because it if was over some sort of creative difference that might take out Nichole Ansari as well--call it a hunch. I honestly have no idea, just a gut feeling.) anyone talked to him lately? Rufus I mean.

LOL. Makes more sense that it is probably one of the cast they hired in NYC, don't you think?

Hence the reason I said it's probably why we haven't had any info on the additional casting. I also think if one of the principles were leaving it would be all over the rumormill. One trip to the theatre district and a quick sherbet at any wateringhole would bring all the info you wanted from any bartender.

LOL. Makes more sense that it is probably one of the cast they hired in NYC, don't you think? But if they have the more minor roles, would that count as a casting crisis? My first thought, before I read your post, Maxx, was Brian Cox as well. But Nicole carried on after he left the London run, so.... Can't be Rufus - with our radar, one of us would have heard something! (So, Uke, know any gossipy bartenders? )

I know that equity exchange thing was mentioned. Could this be a union related crisis, not a cast members doing per se? I don't know how these things work, so I was just wondering. I can't see anyone leaving a likely Broadway hit on their own free will. Otherwise, as noted, it would have to be quite a serious personal thing, or a way, way, way better offer (which isn't as likely) If, God forbid, someone's having a problem, say, working with a newly former girlfriend, I'll generously brush off my HS and college acting chops, stand in and save the day. (Hahahaha) Just joking people, don't get your panties in a bunch now.

My first thought, before I read your post, Maxx, was Brian Cox as well. But Nicole carried on after he left the London run, so.... IMDB lists Brian Cox as in pre-production on a film right now but that might mean nothing. I don't really follow his career so I don't know how accurate that is. Everyone else has a completely clear schedule. Some of those minor roles are pretty challenging. How about Ferda? That would be a tough one to lose at this point in time. I'd like think so, but perhaps they've been sworn to secrecy. I'm with uke. I'll be disappointed if Rufus doesn't do it, but it will still be interesting to see, just the same. Of course that's easy for me to say since I saw the show in London. It would be horribly disappointing for others.

disappointing isn't strong enough -- If Rufus isn't in it, my tickets go on ebay.

In less than a month, I am going to be in the same room as the man - twice - and that is what I will continue to believe.

Let's not worry about it. I don't have any specifics. If I hear anything, I'll let you all know. I'm with Maxx in that Rufus is probably the least likely to drop out.
I mean, can't we just smell the Tony? ;P

I mean, can't we just smell the Tony? ;P And we aren't the only ones. I've put up a couple of articles on the website where others have commented on it. I'm so certain, I'm clearing my calendar for that weekend.
