Ohhhh, Leelee, what a fabulous report! It's a long time since my Rufus-in-person fix, and I was only able to meet up with one person from these groups - how lovely to have a Rufus-party like that!
Looking forward to seeing those pics......!!!

Leelee, I loved your story (and you're being way too hard on yourself because you looked great on Saturday). I saw Calvin shake hands with Rufus when I was there on Saturday . . . and I think that was so cool that Rufus gave you the thumbs up from the car. I think it's official that you and Calvin are regulars after seeing him three times! Can't wait to see the pictures! I'm so glad to have others with me or else I wouldn't have been able to remember when that happened exactly. Next time he does a play in NYC, we'll just all have to meet up again and have a real party. We can meet up a day before and watch Rufus movies all day, have snacks and chat about our guy. lol I tell ya, it was just fantastic to meet ya'll. |

Leelee, I know, it's great to see the faces behind all these posts! It's funny how things are though-The time I saw Rufus and Alice when I went with my daughter and they were rushing out of the car, I didn't want to stop him to ask him for his autograph because I didn't want to delay him. However, when I said hi, Rufus actually looked me right in the eyes and then my daughter as well to return the hello. That day, for some reason, even though it was 2 seconds, I knew exactly what he was wearing. On Saturday, he spent, what maybe 3-4 minutes amidst the group of us, and as he signed my shirt all I was able to do was babble on (to no one in particular) about nonsense . . . and as everyone knows who was there . . . I had a severe case of the dropsies from trying to jam too many things inside my too-small bag. I also couldn't tell you what he was wearing Saturday. Good thing we'll have pictures  . . . so what am I trying to say anyway? Perhaps I can only take Rufus in extremely short doses . . . his whole gorgeousness, charm, everything . . . now maybe if I got used to it and saw him more . . . I could improve . . . and actually say something intelligible. (so Leelee, whenever you guys are ready for that party . . . that might work  ) |

I'm having a heck of a time tonight trying to post pics or even emailing. I'm sorry but I think I might have to wait til tomorrow. Ive been on this thing for 2 1/2 hours. Can't get my pics to upload on photobucket. Oh I'm having such as crappy nite!
Those of you who are also on Michelle's yahoo group know by now that my efforts aren't working. I'll give it one more go.

It sounds as if the group had a wonderful time in New York. I'm so happy for you all and I think it's great so many of you were able to get together. Leelee, your report was wonderful! I enjoyed reading it. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. I'm glad to see a picture of Sinead. We don't often hear much about the remainder of the cast, as our attention is always focused, um, elsewhere!
