Uncorked, I love your story! What a unique thing to do -- R'n'R M&Ms! I'm sure he appreciated your thoughtfulness with the gift and picture of his fans and the fact that you took the time to express your appreciation of his talent. I'm sure that doesn't happen very often.

I'd love to visit LA and I even have a friend there I could stay with but I hate flying...even to see Rufus...so I will have to wait until he hopefully comes back to the east coast..but it was fun while it lasted and even more fun to share stories with my fellow--Rufus Lovers

Uncorked you are so lucky to get to meet Rufus, it was a great idea about the M&Ms and a good talking point. Is he as georgous close up and as tall, does he smell nice - wear aftershave etc

Yippie! It worked! But alas, I'm not up to trying to figure out how to send more than one pic to the boards from photobucket at a time. So, please be patient. Before I send the pic with me and Rufus, I want to let ya'll know that the decision to put this horrible pic of me out there is well, not easy. I am not being vain but I just had no idea I looked that bad. This pic is of me less than 2 years ago. ....  |

Leelee, I love your pictures! And you look great -- don’t put yourself down! The picture of you and Rufus together is such a good one, and he’s even given you one of his rare big smiles. Calvin’s picture with Alice is super, too. She’s beautiful there, and I know Calvin is very pleased to have it.

lol, he certainly was pleased. He wouldn't let me forget that I didn't get a picture for him the night before. ..Rufus certainly does have a nice smile. Gorgeous.

At the risk of repeating myself: Leelee, thanks for all the pics - YOU ARE NOT A BLOB - in fact I prefer the way you look now. Look at that gorgeous hair you have, Louisa!! And Calvin is a doll. Rufus always looks good, but that photo of Alice -  - if I were Calvin, I'd be hanging that one on the wall and making wallet-sized ones to show my mates. thanks for the extra effort Rai :Dxxx |

Uncorked, thank you SO much for the report of your meeting with The Man - the M&Ms were such an inspired idea  (let's hope Billy can't reach up to that mantle, wherever it is now! Chomp-chomp) - it must be things like that that really give him a good laugh, and make you memorable, and that CAN'T be a bad thing where Rufus is concerned! Uke, thank you for the last bow (sob!) - it sounds as if he had as much fun as on the last day in London. ;D Was that you whooping? And Leelee, I LOVE your photos!! Please don't put yourself down so, you look lovely in them, and Calvin looks as pleased as punch - not surprisingly! Alice does look gorgeous in that pic. And as for Rufus....well! I love that about-to-start-laughing expression in the first photo, your big grin in the second (and who wouldn't have one, with THAT man's arm around you?!), and, oh, I know what you mean about hands touching in the third - when he said goodbye to me in London (after I'd had him all to myself for a chat - yay!!), we both put our hands up at the same time to sort of wave, and our fingers touched! I swear mine are still tingling, LOL! I'm glad you had such a great time, and that your son was such great moral support for you. Thank you so much for sharing the photos with us all.  |
