well the excercise ball takes a bit to get used to, but once you've mastered not falling, it really helps you do proper crunches, so that you're not killing your neck. They also can be used for other excercises...I just use mine for crunches though.
And I highly reccomend joing your local derby! Great workout truly;) lol

Thanks, DGD. Mastering the art of not falling is something I need to do in everyday life, too.
LOL! Only if I first join my local supplemental medical insurance plan! I haven't been on skates since I was 12, and I don't think now is the time to relearn.

don't mention it. I have been working out like a fanatic these past few weeks, I am itching to get to the beach and start running again, I've wanted to get out on the week-ends but it's been way too cold, even for me. I am sooooooo looking forward to Spring, summer not so much, crikey I need a vacation in a really bad way. Haven't really been on a true vacation in like 3 years. (that's my little rant for the day)

Ok, I'm soliciting opinions here (and I know you all have some strong ones). I'm very near to reaching one of my fitness goals, so I'm choosing my reward. I figure I'll order it now, since things seem to take forever to reach me by mail (thanks, post office!).
I have not seen either Illuminata or Gone to Seed. Nor have I heard Rufus' reading of any of the James Bond books. The audiobook has the advantage of being something I can listen to while I work out, but either of the DVDs has the obvious advantage of letting me gaze upon Rufus.
Is there anybody who has seen/heard any of these and has any suggestions for which would be best (I only get one reward)? Thanks.

I believe I asked for recommendations on my reward, not my punishment! Thanks anyway.

its a reward so why go for the voice only? it's like the red wine without the chocolate - and you know how 60% black equatorian is good for you.
you know how i loved illuminata (seen it twice already). i have not seen gone to seed - much more expensive to buy - apparently it's got the advantage of revealing much of baby rufus, which in itself is a calory burning catalyst for sure.
but illuminata is a great movie in itself, it is only further graced by the presence of rufus in one of his best roles ever, imho. on top of it he looks aaaahhrrrrggghh hmmmmmmm ggggghhhh.
i know a little about your sense of humour by now, i know that the intelligence of the screenplay will amuse you no end.
