"Career low"? His words? (and "Good riddance", come to that?)
Thanks for this news, Rai....I think!

! I just posted in another thread about Marley Shelton's pregnancy. I guess she was given the go-ahead too. I'm very torn. Last night's episode makes this news easier to take. But I have been very spoiled. I wasn't a fan until EH. So for the last 6 months I've gotten to gorge on all those movies I never saw as well as get a weekly shot of espresso Rufus. Now, who knows how long it will be until the next good fix. Thanks for sharing the news with us. And it was very kind of him to let you tell us, so we don't have to wait until it's announced in May. As we all know, he's a good guy. I wish him a nice rest after all his work and then a great role that lives up to his talents.

Boo, too bad. Let's hope he can put this behind him, and that his career won't suffer b/c of this. A shame, I truly blame the directors, and most especially the writers. Thanks again Rai, for letting us know, and also nice of Ruf to share as well. I had a sneaky feeling quite a few days ago, on the cbs fan site they took away the opportunity to reply to someone's post ontheir msg boards, I thought that odd. You were only given a chance to send a pm. That was last week at least, but I didn't think anything of it. Blame is squarely on those dreadful writers. They wasted the talent of Ruf.

I deleted my post because I misunderstood Roof's message. The show isn't cancelled. It may still go on. He was referring to last night's episode, which I haven't watched yet. "Career low" refers to that show. Please spread the word that I'm a stupid git. Apologies. Rai

LOL! I was all about to say Onwards and Upwards but oh well... is he contracted to stay with the show if they want to renew?

Okay, so what Rufus said was last night's episode was so bad it replaced "Extreme Ops" in his book as his career low. I haven't watched it yet - plan to do so tonight. This was what I meant by telling you guys to watch the last few eps for the highs and lows. Last night was the low. Next week will be a high. This will hopefully allow the execs to see what could be if things are run properly and how bad it is when they aren't. Hope this clears things up. I still feel stupid for blurting out that the show was cancelled. Rai

Ha, it was all a plot to make us sorry we criticized the show! Really, rai, thanks for the update. Actually, it makes me feel quite proud of all of us who hated last night's episode to know that we are quite in agreement with Rufus!

That's right--don't be embarrassed to say it's your favorite episode ever, GE2! We wouldn't think of judging you!

Rai, you are not a git, let's hope he's right, and the following ep will be a career high.
