It seems in London there were plenty of paparazzi yesterday! Good for us. Thanks to our wonderful cyber-reporter!

I think the latter two might have been taken after the event - doesn't that look like a goodie bag Rufus is carrying?

GE2, Thanks again for finding more great pics of Rufus and Billy. I hope it was not the paparazzi who took these photos. Perhaps the organizers of the event hired or have their own photographers because it was a charity event for a children's hospital. Although I wouldn't put anything past the paparazzi to take full advantage even of a children's charity !! Rufus does not seem to be the type of person or Dad to appreciate those creepy fools using his son for a photo shoot. Don't get me wrong. Yes, I'd love to see new current pics of Rufus every day. I'm sure all of us Rufus loving-fans would. But only if he is comfortable in the situation.

Remember, spice when we talk about the paparazzi, we're talking about people who do things like disguise themselves as doctors so they could try to get a picture of christopher Reeve shortly after his accident and more recently, the ones who shoved their cameras in the faces of Natasha Richardson's young sons as they were leaving the hospital after seeing their fatally injured mom. They really have no ethics or scruples; it's all about getting that "money shot".
Billy is an adorable little boy; definitely going to be tall like his dad. As far as the paparazzi taking unwanted pictures, I think if Rufus ever felt they were getting out of line, he'd have no problem letting them know! I'd gladly chip in money for his bail if he ever slugged one of them if he felt they were going to far, especially if it concerns his son!

ambra, I agree with you 100%. I am sure that Rufus cherishes Billy just as I cherish my daughter, even as she is an adult now. Bail money for Rufus in that situation......... we would not have any trouble collecting from all of us on this forum !! I wouldn't mind punching out those paparazzi creeps myself. I had not heard about the pics taken of Natasha's sons leaving the hospital. I did not see them. So utterly mean and cruel in the face of such a tragedy. If I were President, one of the first pieces of legislation I would insist upon would be guidelines for paparazzi types. We can still have freedom of the press while respecting and guarding the rights of our politicians, entertainers, of all of us.

i saw those pics of richardson's sons as they were shoved in my face on msn. i wrote several "unfriendly notes" to all the msn-related outfits i could think of, and removed msn as my default internet screen of choice.
whenever kids are concerned, it should be a matter of universal decency to act protectively towards them. instead of that, we repeatedly feed on them. this should be a matter of survival instinct to protect the young.
and this comes from a non-mom.

I'm not sure whose paparazzi are worse, the UK or US. Either way they are despicable, and have no qualms about injuring their intended all for the sake of a picture. Can someone say Princess Diana??? When is enuf enuf?
SJP and Matthew Broderick had the right idea, when their son was born she made damn sure she showed her son to every photographer who staked out the hospital, so they'd all have the same exact picture, no exclusives. For the most part, they are seldom seen in NY (the paparazzi that is). NY'ers are pretty jaded, I've seen countless celebs walking around town and no one pays them any notice, it's no surprise then that alot of them live in Brooklyn (yay) and Manhattan. I saw Ruf hailing a cab and people walked right past him (when he was doing R&R). That is the beauty of NYC.
