Is there any way to post the third series of Dr Syn on this site??? I have the first two on my ipod, they are a hoot and so much fun to listed to. I love all of the different voices he does. Peach, where can I find the first 2?

You can go to the audio section on roofsewell.com. That's where I downloaded each Dr Syn installment and Nick Silver Can't Sleep (this one is utterly fantastic, I'm getting chills just thinking about it) Let me know what you think.

I just listened to Rufus reading Dr. Syn...isn't he brilliant? All the different voices that he does (I assume they are all him). What a very talented man he is. I loved the story (his voice is gorgeous) and I look forward to new readings.

I just listened to The Further Adventures of Dr, Syn, even more enjoyable if that's possible than its predecessor.

All I can add is "Me, too! Me, too!" The Further Adventures were wonderful! All of Roof's characterizations are incredible, but I'm with you, GE2, on liking Jimmie Bone. Gentleman James is wonderful! I hope that in the Last of Dr. Syn, the good Rev. Doctor gets to fall in love and live happily ever after.

Has anyone heard any updates on this project yet. I've been on the BBC site but it's very user unfriendly and couldn't find anything.

I e-mailed BBC Radio 7 last night, and they've replied this morning to say that "The Last Of Dr Syn" is currently scheduled for the first week of January. Yay!!!! (I was hoping for Christmas, but never mind)

Yes, just when we all would usually be feeling deflated, we have Rufus to cheer us up!
By the way, the first series (the amalgamation of Doctor Syn on the High Seas and Doctor Syn Returns) is being repeated from 7 December, so I expect the second series will follow, and then the new one after that. Can't wait!
