Great intro.........and they talked a LOT about the nominees and theater in London.......but not one mention of RUFUS! R&R was mention once! Who cares about Kevin Spacey (sorry, some of you might!)  ? It was really fun to watch though........I'm just a little scared that neither person interviewed mentioned Ruf at all.........but I can't wait to see what happens! Michelle |

I found the one with the second critic kind of confusing. Didn't LOTR open and close already in NYC? I don't think it even got out of previews. You don't mean to tell me that they're going to give it another shot on the West End? I thought it was a hugely expensive fiasco in NY. It seemed to be from some time in the past.
And am I looking at wrong list? As far as I can see Kevin Spacey is not nominated. So I'm not sure what that was all about either...
As to mentioning Rufus? That's one of the hottest categories. Just look at affect it had on us. Why would they mention it? It's much more tantalizing if they don't.
Actually, I thought looking at how everyone was dressed the segments might have been filmed sometime last autumn. But who knows...

I know, it was sort of weird to realise that tomorrow's ceremony is in fact not all about Rufus which of course in my mind it is. 'Oh my god, there are other nominees and categories??'. He must win though, I've built it up in my mind too much for it all to coming crashing down now.   |

LOL........I'm the same way, Uke........what's the point if it's not all about Rufus??? And wouldn't the interviews have to have been done within the last month or so, after the nominations? Since he specifically mentions how many Spamalot got and specific people nominated. Spacey isn't nominated? Then why did they keep talking about him? That's just weird! I just want to see the arrivals (Rufus), the awards for R&R (with Rufus) and best actor (Rufus), and then the camera panning the audience (looking right at Rufus), and some candid shots here and there (of Rufus). Beyond that, I really don't care! Michelle |

I'm not very computer-literate.........is there a way to record bits from this? Michelle I hope there is, Michelle - I've just tried to play the intro video, and it keeps "buffering" and stopping and starting all the time. I just know it'll do that when Rufus is on - WAH! Like you, I'm not very computer-literate, and I don't know what to do to make it play properly (too late now to install broadband, methinks!). Helllllllpppppppppppppp!!! Someone please record the relevant bits and put them up on a link! |
