I can't find anything about the new film or even where he is in Canada. I found a site that lists all movies that are filming now but it's outdated and there's nothing for 2007, only a few tv shows that film in Vancouver. I know they (Canadian version of SAG) were on strike but they may have settled that and I'm not aware of the statutes for non-Canadian actors working in Canada. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

I know Daily Variety lists all the productions in the US, I'll have a check on Tuesday when I go back to work if they list Canadian productions/productions shooting in Canada.

kay, there isn't much in Friday's Variety. Your possible choices are:
Addicted - Sarah Michelle Geller (I'm going to say probably not on this one) The Camel Wars - no cast listed Christmas in Wonderland - no cast listed Ferris Wheel- Nick Stahl, Charlize Theron, Dennis Hopper, Woody Harrelson...
Possible it hasn't be listed yet. I'll check again tomorrow.
Good news we've got a month on Rock 'n' Roll in NYC as well--October.

Addicted - Sarah Michelle Geller (I'm going to say probably not on this one) Unless it's that college virgin thing we read about a while ago? Hmmm, maybe?? But then he would be down the list of people which hey, is not cool. Unless it's an ensemble pic and they're all in the same room all the time. October?? Man, that is such a long wait!! But wheeeee all the same!!

I read that the strike is still on but only affects Ontario and Quebec, British Columbia has a separate union. These are the only 2 movies I could find that are shooting now in Vancouver.
The Quality of Life: A Dominic Da Vinci Movie (Nicholas Campbell) Passengers (Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, Chelah Hordsdale and Ryan Robbins)

the camel wars is in pre-production christmas in wonderland I can't find...
probably not either of these.
Could be a small role in something already in production...

Although I'm not keen on Roof doing US TV, I wouldn't necessarily mind if he did a guest stint on Men in Trees!

Not many features in there. You think Rufus is doing Canadian television? That would be something... Something he said led me to believe he was getting more than one interesting offer. I'd like to think he's chosen something because he likes it, not because he has to work. Being in Canada doesn't necessarily mean it's the primary location for the picture. That could be anywhere. It'll probably be in Variety tomorrow or the next day and end our suspense. ;D Or not...
