Wichi, I'm sure the 5 hour direct flight to Perth would be much more appealing after filming in that god awful jungle - i would even go & collect him to make sure he got here safely!!! ;D Oh & BTW he did actually come to my house (in one of my many odd dreams last night!!!!) A bit vague as dreams are but i seem to remember enticing him here with ......... roast beef. He was funny & charming, & spent a great deal of time discussing photography with my husband and AKT with my 9 year old (who declared it the best movie he had ever seen). I just remember sitting happily watching him laugh & enjoy my food - & that was it dammit!!!!

LOL numbat!! According to the dream interpretation site I look at a lot (dreams fasinate me), to dream of beef suggests... "Beef To see or eat beef in your dream, signifies your animal instinct and animalistic energy. The dream may also be a pun on your beef or grudge with someone. Are you trying to pick a fight? " ---or--- "Roast To see or eat roast in your dream, signifies melancholy in the home, betrayal, and/or secrets. " www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/b2.htm

Well, that is definitely a lot cleaner than I was expecting to hear! No sense going off the deep end, numbat! It was just a dream! If I were you I wouldn't take that drastic step unless you hear it from the mouth of Rufus himself.

It didn't take long for Rueful - oops, sorry, her "evil twin" (as I'm sure she'll point out ) - to corrupt you, Numbat! (I did nearly have a heart attack on the games, though..... )

Numbat, quite a good review, I found it a very disturbing film and one that I won't soon forget. I will not watch a second viewing anytime soon, the subject matter was just too raw. Knowing someone who recently lost their son at 5 months is too much reality for me at the moment. I found it too claustrophobic, and unnerving. I felt my anxiety level rising with each approaching scene and you felt theirs as well. The acting was top notch and believable as well, not a happy movie.

I kno what you mean Peach, i remember it reaching a point (i think when they were hiding in the ruins) thinking that i just couldn't see how this could possibly end well. And, i was right. I really did enjoy (?) Roof's performance though, i thought he did a fantastic job of portraying quiet desperation & hopelessness.

Peach, what a wonderful description of atmosphere. I still have only seen clips, but from your words can imagine how progressively heavy it gets.
Hey, I'm not sure I'm willing to take credit for this particular Frankenstein monster! She's doing pretty well on her own. (And that's how you know it's me today, and not my evil twin, because she would happily claim the undeserved credit with great pride in her ability to turn formerly sweet, innocent, reserved Aussies into lustful, weapon-wielding combatants in the never-ending battle for Rufus's [imaginary] attention.)

In my defence, may i remind you that THIS was my original comment: a perfectly innocent & wholesome dream about Rufus eating dinner & talking to my husband & children!!!! Everything that followed was initiated by that witchy wichiwoman & rueful. I am indeed a: Now that's my story & i'm sticking to it!!!

Just as I told myself to cut back on the fansite .I had to tell you this.. I was trawling Amazon U.K as is my wont looking to see if they had "In a savage land " yet, when I saw that "vinyan" Region 2 is on pre- order which I did. I then saw a review of it by D.N.T.N**T( in Netherlands). It was very caustic but the words that jumped out at me were POINTLESS PORNOGRAPHY. PORN Is there any porn? do the U.S fangirlies know? if so why haven't they told us in U.K.??!!!!!! POINTLESS It can only be pointless if Roofie -baby is not involved!!!!! I think that Mr. and it has to be a Mr. DNTN**T can jump in one of his own canals what say you girls?
