Hi all. I’ve been lurking for about a month and finally decided to register. I must admit that I’ve been feeling silly, figuring I’d wander away and act like an adult again. I’ve never joined a specific fan site – except for Led Zeppelin – but RUFUS! Gawd, what is it with this man? Seriously, I feel like I’m 16 again. I’ve been having mid-life crushes, but OH THIS MAN!
I’ve been a fan for a while, but about a year ago I saw him in something and something re-ignited big-time. (like an explosion). Now I’m getting every movie I can find.
Sooooo, I’ve decided to give in to his magical powers and turn myself over.
Rufus, here I am!

welcome to the club! >:(we're all crazy that way - everyone of us reads your post and thinks : " oh another sister in madness!" but you must have found out already.  this being said, some of us are crazier than others - no rueful, i don't necessarily mean you! - it's only this strange habit we have to drool in buckets while gazing at HIM. he is so...  so...  oh and he's a good actor too. ;D so grab a bucket and be sure to look everywhere for those fab pics greeneyestoo finds for us. have fun in the games! if you care for a good laugh, have you checked the " cap it" thread? it is simply hilarious!  see you around! p.s. you and i also have in common this soft spot we have for led zepp. long live to dirty-bluesy rock'n'roll and beautiful men !  |

Welcome, nycfan! As you've discovered, Rufus does have that effect on people - it's best just to surrender yourself, join in and wallow in his gorgeousness openly! ;D

I live in NYC. I think I caught Knight's on cable one day and thought, "Oh, there's that hot guy again". Googled. bookmarked his page on IMBD. felt silly. kept looking. felt childish. looked again. started buying movies.

oh yes!! . The very first time was in AKT, i felt like Goood! Who is this beautiful Man? dreamt of moving back into Middle Ages to find such a Guy, heheheheh... wish I was Jocelyns maid , doing everything to catch his attention  He was sooo gorgeous as Adhemar Welcome and have a good time, I'm a newcomer as well:) I love this site <3<3<3 |

nycfan, Welcome to this fabulously wonderful fan site dedicated to Rufus Sewell. This is also my first and only fan site in which I've ever participated. I am just old enough to be Mr. Sewell's mother and I maintain the decorum of a lady...... sort of like, sometimes...  ? We definitely focus on the acting talent of Mr. Sewell. I personally believe that he is one of the best actors , if not the best actor alive. You may notice many posts on the board referring to Mr. Sewell's classical, gloriously sexy, hauntingly mesmerizing physical appearance. However, we relish in this man's acting genius !!!!!!!!! Now, if you find yourself experiencing huge heights of haunting-hormonal gushes, just do what I do. Eat chocolate, watch every one of Ruf's movies you are able to obtain, visit this board each and every day, and ask for God's forgiveness. God will forgive you because He created Ruf and is therefore responsible for his exquisite good looks and our reaction to them. That's how I justify "the Rufus condition". It works for me, I hope it will work for you !!!!!! |
