Ok, I guess I am the only one who hasn't seen EO yet. I'd heard it wasn't too good. I can't find it at the movie rental stores so I guess I'll have to buy it to see it.It can't be that bad. I really don't care as long as Rufus is in it. I'm sure he made the movie. Thanks for the review, I can't wait to see it now. I did pick up Vinyan for 3.99 at Blockbuster( stores are closing). I didn't care for that movie too much but loved Rufus.
You guys are so funny!! I've never eaten chocolate while watching Rufus movies. Now I can't get chocolate off my mind.

you don't know what you're missing . Try it and see! I' ve a grading which I use The better the film/ more Roofie exposure the less chocolate I eat and visa /versa. A glass of wine makes a nice accompaniment plus Lights out and being on your own is best. ;D ;D ;D love Frannie

Hey evn, last time I looked, amazon had used copies going for as little as .01 cent! Of course, add in shipping and you're up to $3 or $4, and I wouldn't pay any more for it than that! It's shown up a couple of times really late at night on Spike, if you get that channel.
It's not something I would ever have had any interest in if not for Rufus, but I thought he made the character pretty three-dimensional, which was quite a feat considering how stupid the plot and dialog were. I also liked that he was a nice, normal guy, and as we know he doesn't get to do that as often as we'd like. Didn't like the heavy snow gear though--couldn't it have been extreme surfing?

ah rueful, you are losing your edge. plot and dialogs of EO "stupid"? you are much too generous.

Rueful, You're the best! I will go to amazon and order it now. I keep the tv schedule for Rufus open and check it daily for Ruf movies. I haven't seen EO on it yet. I like the snow gear look from the pics and clips (so James Bond ). I don't care if it stinks, it will be Rufus in a role I haven't seen. I just can't get enough Rufus lately.

That seems to be a common problem around here. I hope you like it. He is the best thing about it, and that's a totally unbiased assessment. I've mellowed considerably these last months, haven't you noticed? I miss my weekly fix so much that I actually sat through the Franco scenes in T&I when it was on tv early this morning.

Well i like it evn (and so does my 10 year old son if that's anything to go by!!!!) It's not brain surgery but i think it's a bit of a laugh & quite tongue in cheek. Rufus is gorgeous in his black turtleneck and i love him all cold & frosty in the snow - i think i might just like the fact that he's a bit of an action man too He can come & warm his toes after a hard day white water kayaking, snowboarding & hang-gliding, by my fire anyday. I'll even rub his er, back for him Now, behave.........................

Well I have to say this wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen but close. Rufus was the only saving grace. I loved seeing him in an action role and thought his performance in this movie was good compared to the other actors. At least Rufus tried to act in this movie which is more than I can say for the other actors. I loved the part where he tried to comfort the drunk Olympic skiing girl and and when he gave himself up to the bad guys when his cell phone rang. I could see potential James Bond here or some kind of action suspense role in the future. I will definitely watch this again just to see Rufus. I don't know why I liked him so much in this movie, but I do. I guess I'm just so bedazzled by him I'll watch even the bad ones just to see him in a different role.

You guys will not take me very seriously as a film critic...but I did like Rufus in this. I will admit to FF to most of his parts though. There is something wrong with me...its called Rufusitis...we all have it. Hes great in everything he does isnt he!

yep, rufusitis... exactly. we actually a support group for anyone suffering from this wonderful affliction. as far as the critic goes, in general here we agree that the movie is mainly FF material but that rufus is gorgeous in it so you are ok. and he IS great in anything he does.

EO is fun to watch if anything for the pure novelty of it being rather different than other things he has done. Natch he helps out the movie immensely purely by being in it!! Someone noted a few posts back (and I've posted previously) that one of the best bits he was given to do was his little chat w/the tipsy olympic skier. It was a sweet and funny part. And his buddy thing too was good, they work really well together as they did in Charles II... One thing EO did a great job of was in establishing a real cool setting and vibe--production crew deserves props for that--if viewers are reminded of a James Bond film, that can only be a compliment in my book!
