Awww! So cute! Brings back good memories! When I was growing up, we'd vacation at this very rustic place in Colorado. They had hummingbird feeders on the front porch of each cabin. One morning, my sister and I were sitting out on the porch. Because it was pretty chilly, my sister had put on her boyfriend's letter jacket, which looked quite similar to this one. The birds immediately decided that she looked like a big tasty feeder and started poking their little beaks into her. It was fun until the resident alpha male (like Rufus in the video) decided that he wanted to claim her as his own territory. So he started dive-bombing my sister every time another hummer came near her.

Well, I'm not sure they call that Rufus their friend. ;D (Or he would be invited to any party.) I love your story, Judy!

Cute indeed: the 'meet Rufus' alone made my laugh.

Love that story, Judy! My friend in Georgia notices that whenever she wears a red top, the hummers *skid to a halt" (her words) mid-flight, then come and investigate her!
