I would like to express my appreciation for you and your work. You enrich our lives with your excellent skills, your kindness and your handsomeness. I feel your work needs much more recognition as you are such a brilliant actor! So far I have never seen another actor or actress who can change so much for his or her roles as you do - you keep baffling me every time. It is pure joy to watch your movies and I wish to see many more! Thank you for being *you* and for gifting us with your talent!

amen, amen , and amen. rufus, dear boy, if somewhere in the land of tech you ever read our musings, please know we think you are extraordinary. We unashamedly make you into whatever we want and need you to be and sometimes we wonder how close we are to the mark, but you make it so easy for us to believe the best about you because you behave yourself as a gentleman and a gentle man. tell your mom thanks for whatever she did that set you on the right path (do you truly think it was allowing you to run around in the all-together as a boy? h-m-m-m, even if not, it apparently didn't hurt.) we think the world of you, but surely you must know that by now.

Think we need to recycle on a regular basis and when I was looking back through the threads, this one caught my attention. We have some new folks on board who might like to add their two-cents worth and perhaps some of the long-term fans have something to say, too. You just can't say enough good things about the boy.  |

As one of the new folks on the boards I am more than happy to post my appreciation of the wonderful work that you do,your unbelievable talent as an actor and your ability to absolutely become the characters that you portray. And as for your looks you just leave me speechless. I have to admit that I did not discover you until I saw The Zen series and cannot praise this programme highly enough. Your Aurelio Zen was a masterpiece, the whole programme was suberb and I have complained over and over to BBC about the cancellation.Have since caught up with a lot of your previous work and am buying DVD's all the time. Also loved TPOTE Tom Builder was another suberb portrayal in a wonderful series.There seems to be a lot more projects you are involved in at the moment and I can't wait to see these.

I would like to express my appreciation of the fine work you have turned out over the years TOTs is my ultimate favourite but there are so many others , some of which you personally do not think so much of (Dark City , for one) and great stage peformances which are lost to us .
More than your work I would like to say how much we , here at the board , are so appreciative of your warm and funny nature , your courtesy to everyone whether they be idiotic interviewers who ask the same stupid question or your fans
If we ask Nell, or Gloria or PGG, or to read the comments of an extra on set, or a student in Rome, interrupting your quiet coffee, or listen the call to a radio programme from a fella who was at the same maternity hospital when Billy was born .... we are told the same thing.
You Are A Nice Guy, Roof!! and maybe that is the best thing of all.
