Several new films started today......I want to see Babel, Stranger Than Fiction, The Good Year, and even Santa Clause 3!
What movies out now or that are coming up (besides Rufus films, of course we all want to see those!) do you really want to see?

I saw Stranger Than Fiction yesterday and thought it was a bit slow... A Good Year has had so so reviews so I'm not exactly looking forward to it but it's got Tommy Hollander in it so I may go to see it anyway. I'm looking forward to Black Book and Starter For Ten mostly. James McAvoy... *sigh*

Children of Men after being tormented in London with Clive Owen on the side of every bus then being forced to wait unit December-- The Fountain. I'll see ANYTHING with Clive Owen in it! I hadn't heard of that one though..........looked it up on imdb.......I'll be seeing it whenever it comes out over here! I've been seeing ads for The Fountain for about a week or so, not sure when it comes out, but it looks very interesting.

We went to the movie tonight and I saw the preview for Will Smith's new film, "Pursuit of Happyness" (yes, correct spelling) and for Denzel Washington's new one "Deja Vu" and both of them looked great! We also saw the preview for "The Holiday" and I made my hubby and daughter look at the screen to see the 3 seconds of Rufus!

Oh! Also saw the preview for "A Night in the Museum" with Ben Stiller and Robin Williams and Owen Wilson...........I generally don't care for Ben Stiller but this one looks really funny. He plays a night guard at the NY History Museum and at night everything comes alive......Mummies, dinosaurs, Teddy Roosevelt statue.........I might actually see this one!

Fast Track! I saw the trailer for it tonight and it looks hilarious plus it has Jason Bateman in it, wheee! Now you ask, does she pick all her movies because of the men in them? Uhm, pretty much yes *cough*

Now you ask, does she pick all her movies because of the men in them? Uhm, pretty much yes *cough* Dont we all! As long as there is some good eye candy and a happy ending I will go and see it. Despite the critical panning, I may go and see AGY. I will also catch the Departed before it departs (hopefully)

Well there are those that I will the film simply because they are in it, Rufus being one of those! Regardless of the reviews, no matter what others say...........I will see whatever Ruf is in!! Other than that, it just has to appeal to me in some way on the previews.

I want to see The Prestige and The History Boys - both of which are just out in the UK but I haven't had time to get to the cinema and probably won't do for another week. Rats. Hugh will have to wait. I've also discovered The History Boys opens in the West End December 21 and I'm wondering whether to hang fire for the stage show and catch the film after on DVD. And I know we weren't supposed to mention Ruf films on this thread, but I'm still really hacked off that there's no UK release date in sight for The Illusionist or Paris Je T'aime. (Small rant over )

Well, I just saw STRANGER THAN FICTION, but HAPPY FEET and HOLIDAY are still pending....Happy Feet is this coming Friday so I'm really excited. I'm going to go see it w/ my friends. Don't push me 'cause I am close to the edge, I'm trying not to lose my head' - Gotta love that part.
The Holiday looks very good too. I don't like Jude Law but Kate Winslet is a good actress and Jack Black is hilarious. I hope Rufus, though I know he'll only be in it for no more than half and hour (judging by the trailer---but I could be wrong) has some funny lines, though he plays the meanie in it. I really like to see how the movie turns out.
I also want to see THE QUEEN (as I posted in another part of the forum), but it's not playing in any theaters near my college, so I'll have to wait until I get home. It looks really good.
