But I'm sure there are many people here who'd love to join you in admiring his... er, talent... Guilty. I'm not a huge fan of Middlemarch even though I am a sucker for costume dramas. MM is just so long and soapy and not very interesting imho. But but but Ladislaw does make up for sitting through the whole darn thing.

Inspired by this thread, I watched this yesterday morning (wheee MLK day!!). I hadn't watched anything Rufus since The Holiday came out and oh my, my cup runneth over with love. I fear that when Rufus is 80 and will get a BAFTA lifetime achievement award, I'll still be squeeing like an idiot...

LOVED it. Robert Glenister kicks total ass btw. What a great actor. And an amazing directorial job by Doug Hodge (the doctor in Middlemarch). Great great great.

As well, I love when he is reprimanding Uncle Cullen and remarks something along the lines of 'aren't you embarrassed that you have been living off your parents money all your life - you are 75 years old, when are you going to get a real job'. I love this scene. I love this movie but not so much that scene. Ross lives off his uncle's cash, what is he telling him off for??

My first question is, was Peter Cook born looking like that? This was 15 years ago and he looks exactly the same. Hasn't he been dead for 15 years? I can't stand Winston but I love Monty. His band kills me. I love GTS, it has such terrible music in it, it's fantastic.

Oh, I don't know, I haven't seen AMONI on DVD yet. It's just one of the films I can think of that is exclusively (I think) available on Region 2 if you want the DVD.

This is about Region 1/Region 2.......and it does have to do with Rufus........so I HOPE I don't get in LOADS of trouble for continuing on with this......(Uke, if I'm screwing up, I'm really sorry!) Of course not!! Have you seen A Man of No Importance? I think it's only available on a Region 2 (= Europe) DVD.

I can only move whole threads to another forum, not seperate posts. You can start a new Ken thread in TV/film or Off-topic if you want.

Tinkerdog, that website wasn't by Rufus, it was EMS and it was made by my friend Minx. She had to take it down over copyright issues with photo agencies.
