Geee! Glad you enjoy it, Eleanor Lol2, you know what, ladies, I've been thinking all day about it.. and sorry, but I simply feel the urge to tell you ( but hey, it's RuFanGirls forum anyway, so why should I hold back? ) Thinking of Eric Stark and me, uniting in a long passionate kiss arrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhgggg!!!!! ;D ;D just to sweeten those pretty hard days I'm forced to go through right now:(. I have to think about something that brings smile to my face so I can forget about the pain for a while. (I felt so depressed today I couldn't forced myself to do a n y th i n g... ) This site gives me the great opportunity to relax, to recover both physically and spiritually (whyyyy, Roof is the greatest medicine for everything as well as our RuFanGirls Merry Company)... and I know I can always have your support... Glad to have found such a place.. Geese..its like just like a Roofian oasis to me.. the rest of the world seems to be a huge, unpleasant desert right now.. This Message Board is my greatest refuge And now, please, Guys, let my just cry out: ***"RUFUS HONEY I LOVE YOU!!!!!"*** Huggs

Fell in love moment: Marco. Exact scene- when Veronica calls him a venal curr--the hurt look on his face. Finest acting moments: Charles II-his best IMHO. But my Favorite character? Frank! Too damn funny!!!!

Can I voice in on this? My fave would be Petruchio, snarky, nasty, damn funny but in the end, sweet.

I'm a bit late adding to this thread I 've been thinking about it , a real hardship. Billy ( Gone to seed) so young trying so hard to be worldly wise and sophisticated ......Because I want to stroke his hair , wrap my arms around him and teach him everything I know........ Petruchio ( taming of the shrew) older but no wiser.... I want to stroke his hair , wrap my arms around him and let him teach me everything he knows.... as for the delectable Mr Sewell, I just want to dip him in chocolate and li......... or do I mean dip me in chocolate and.... or do I mean both? ?

My favorite roles are John Murdoch, Marco Venier and Jacob Hood from EH. I actually fell so in love with Jacob that I want canvassing the DVDs and cable networks for other movies. I hope he makes another movie soon. I have seen Downloading Nancy but while I was amazed with his performance the character was not one of my favorites.

Mmmmmmmmm francesca, would all of Rufus be dipped in chocolate? ? What a very evocative post!!!!! It's hard to decide on favourite characters isn't it because i like them all for different reasons and it probably changes depending on what your favourite movie is at the time. But i do adore Lord Marke .........and Petruchio .............and Charles II ...........and Ross .............and Seth ..............and Marco ...........and poor Giles ...............and ............

for the very quality of movie/character/fair chance to perform adequately, i would chose in the following order):
1. petruchio, the ultimate bratty man-child 2. charles II- sexiest king ever 3. thomas clarkson (every director in hollywood should be forced to see this performance before tackling any kind of casting) 4. the trader in "out of the blue"- sniff, made me discover roofikins, and i never recovered since 5. martin ricardo (shivers) 6. dominique, gorgeous, and so perfectly self-absorbed 7. mick carpenter (repeat instruction from 3.) 8. seth, simply hilarious 9. giles who broke my heart 10. robbie fay, the ultimate friend 11.ali baba, slow witted, but so adorable 12. will ladislaw - perhaps roofikins has felt horribly haunted by this role, but you would have to be a gal to understand why, really... albert is actually now being thrown in the list above, for the outstanding performance, despite the lack in the sympathy-from-the-audience dept.. the viewing of the movie is too recent for me to attribuate a place in the ratings, but he would probably make the top five.
jacob hood would be first in the could-have-been-great-but-the-guy-did-not-have-a-fighting-chance category.
of course, when it comes to the most dreaded drool factor category, mighty lord marke and marco go up the ratings. up to the moon.
as to which of the above characters i would prefer to nominate in the dip-into-chocolate category, charles II and jacob hood would probably finish ex aequo, with adhemar following closely. in 4th place, agamemnon, who nevertheless definitely finishes last in the sympathy-from-the-audience dept. marco does not have a place in the dip-in-chocolate category because, frankly, he is just perfect as is (clothes are not necessary either).

I did pen!!! I love poor frustrated Ross with his shocking dress sense and scruffy hair. And i still manage to cry every single time in that scene on the big rock where he and Kendal break up without saying a single word.
