 I want a Seth dream ;D I had a tiny Dominique dream last night but I can't remember a single detail  (although I do remember while I was dreaming, that I was hoping for Revenge of the Purple Octopus). I haven't had a full Rufusy dream since my last dream posting, but Rufus has been in nearly every dream I've had for the past week. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to remember the plot line of any of them. I don't remember a single thing when I wake up except that he was in my dreams, and that it's always been Rufus himself, not a character.  This is when I really wish a group of science-y high-techy people would figure out a way to invent dream recorders. A forgotten Rufus dream is truly a tragedy that should be prevented at all costs

although I do remember think while I was dreaming, I was hoping for Revenge of the Purple Octopus. I've been wishing for such a thing for years! Wouldn't that be cool? |

Hi ladies, I had a short but very nice dream. A bit unusual because it was realistic and some of the Rooftoppers were there in my dream! We were in a very huge room, inside of a temple I think. Candle lights around us. We were sitting in a closed circle, maybe 20-25 young women. It was like a picture, so crystal-clearly detailed and I could even smell a special fragrance too. A man stood in the middle of the circle, dressed like an ancient Egyptian priest (don’t ask me how I knew that he was a priest, but in my dream I did.). When he started to speak I realized that it was Rufus. He called our names, one by one. I remember he said judy, PGG, ophelia, anglophile, kissmekate… (well that sounded funny and we were all laughing when Rufus said to kissmekate that kissmekate!). In my dream I knew that more Rufians must have been there. The priest asked the same question… or it wasn’t a question but an instruction something like that: tell me about the Moon! I was very excited, because I felt this was similar like an exam! Every of us had to speak about our personal experiences with the Moon. Right after that Rufus stepped to us, hold our hands one after another, and asked us to give a name to the Moon! I remember he had a golden ring with an emerald on his middle finger. By the time this session was over, the Moon already had twenty-something different names! The priest was satisfied with us (=we passed the exam)  . That’s all. I remember once I visited Denderah in Egypt with my parents when I was a child. I don’t know it has anything to do with it. Any of you ladies does have a clue? You should know, you were there, too!  |

I don't know what I'm more elated about -- being called 'young' or being in a room with rufus. regardless, it was a wonderful dream, castanea. now, could you go back to dream land, please? ;D ;D.
meg, i, too, have had rufus dreams for several nights but they're all what i call 'snapshot' dreams since all i can remember when i wake up is an image of him but no plot to go with it. very frustrating. wonder if he ever has dreams in which any of our names or your faces (guess he knows what some of you look like - you lucky things!!) pop up?

hey, gals I'm sorry I don't remember all the names he said. I think it was a special circle, and that's why I felt that more Rooftoppers were there. Kind of feeling that somehow it belonged to the Rooftoppers' member circle. Anyother, you must be there too.  Sure this whole thing was a bit intimate. I felt that we knew each other and that session is just one of the many get-togethers. Very weird in a way, beacuse I really don't know how I knew these things in my dream. This Moon-thing can be a part of a symbolic language. Ok, I will not over-think it this time, but usually my dreams put effect on me. I understand the feeling when someone cannot remember the dream! I usually feel lost in a case like that. |

i have noticed a curious new phenomenon in my life. ever since y'all started detailing your rufus dreams, i've started to have them. the problem is, i can't really remember them the next day. but i believe if you would endeavor to keep having them and reporting on them, eventually the dream vibes would work their way toward Tennessee and i would have a larruping good one that would stick in my mind forever -- even when the kids have trundled me off to a nursing home. so, if you don't mind, could you please force yourselves to dream about rufus on a regular basis -- and i'm not picky, i'll take him just as he is or in any role he's played ... and then report it in colorful detail so my subconscious has some chance of latching on? i would be willing to pay you, but i'm saving up all funds to ride the streets (above and below) of london in hopes of catching a real wink. i'm sure you understand. and thank, dreamers!! |

Oh  , castaneasativa, that is very interesting! I hope I was there! ;D I wonder what I would have said about the moon... I haven't actually had any Rufus dreams lately. The last one I had was not a good one and kind of upset me so I didn't want to post about it. |

I'm not sure if this was a dream or premonition-while-sleeping, but while I was sleeping, there was a sudden moment where I saw Rufus on an episode of "The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos". I sometimes watch the show on youtube when it features a celebrity I like (Philippa Gregory was on it recently). In my dream/possible premonition Rufus was on the show to promote ALVH and he was dressed all in black and his hair was much curlier and thicker up top (like how it was at The Holiday premiere, but not as long). He looked amazing |
