No, not the officious suit, his real wedding outfit (although I think I didn't look at his legs in the dream )

I've had two more dreams this week, but unfortunately I don't remember very much. In one, we were about to come very close to each other (um, better no details here ...), but after a kiss and a very tight embrace I said I couldn't do that because I had a boyfriend. And tonight I had a visit from Petruchio (in his wedding outfit ) but I don't remember anything except that he made me laugh. 4 dreams KMK? ....When it rains, it pours But why did you have to tell him that you had a boyfriend?!?!?!?!?! @petruchio's wedding outfit: Was this after "the suspender" picture posted? ;D ;D

But why did you have to tell him that you had a boyfriend?!?!?!?!?! I don't know - maybe a bit of guilty feeling because he's had to endure so much talk of Rufus lately That was before

Ah.......that's such a guilty pleasure ;D ;D ;D Gosh...you didn't tell him the...ehm...details of that particular one, did you??? Lately I had Rufus in my dreams, but he's more like an extra in a movie - not the lead. So his characters were just in and out, shifting in those non sense dreams.

Certainly not!! What a good girl..... ;D Hey last night, and I'm still giggling about it, I dreamt about a gathering back in Indonesia; I was wearing the sarong and kebaya (trad. sheer top) just like that lady in Victory and I was welcoming Rufus (no clue what his relation to me) home from somewhere...as people gather arround me asking questions, he approached the porch, we were about to hug and he turned in to a CAT!!! It's a little calico cat with stubby tail...just like that of Maneki Neko (beckoning cat from Japan) which I collect certain things of it. He looks so darn cute!!! What's so off was that calico usually if not all are female ;D ;D ;D

Mmm, wonder what that means. I found this:
"Dreams of cats and cat people. Beyond the usual associations with cats--sex, sensuality, beauty, ferocity, play, self-sufficiency (and vanity), fish breath... there's a fact about cats that was only recently proven, which may explain why so many people identify with cats. The cat family's nearest relatives, it turns out, are us. Primates and cats split off only about thirty million years ago. They specialized in an all-meat diet, while we went for a mixed one, but think how many traits we share: we're both tree-climbing, flat-faced, sensual, intelligent and notoriously curious, extraordinarily flexible and gymnastic, prone to growing manes, but with tails optional (humans, bobcats, gorillas, Manx cats, chimps, sabertooths)."
And:
"Dreams with animals in them are usually important. Animals in dreams symbolize the deeper instincts and vital forces - often repressed. The animals can be helpful or threatening, friends from an earthly utopia or enemies intent upon our demise. Animals in dreams are what we make of them, because they are images of ourselves; representing our passions, anxieties and fears. Animals in dreams can also be mystical or magical bringers of messages, even custodians of our secret inner sanctum. Animals in dreams can also represent powerful people in our lives such as our mother or father."

Well, the sensuality part is fitting, isn't it? (I had some stupid dream tonight involving animals too, but sadly no Rufus ... just a fat ugly dog turning into an ugly man who was keen on me *eek*)

Thank you for the finding, Anyother I really love the descriptions There's one thing: fish breath - it makes me laugh because in reality Rufus loves fish ;D ;D ;D How bout that for the truth!!! (Oh well, I'm sure he brushes his teeth and gorgles listerine every day...) and this one hit me hard: Animals in dreams are what we make of them, because they are images of ourselves; representing our passions, anxieties and fears. @kmk: How true so sorry for the bad dream; I'm sure Rufus will visit soon and make up for it... ;D

I had a dream the other day that Rufus and I were teachers at a middle school. He looked like Ross from Uncorked/At Sachem Farm, with glasses and a tweed jacket. XD And our classes were supposed to get together to do something, so we went to talk in his classroom before the kids came in. We sat next to each other behind his desk with our knees touching, and just talked and joked about stuff (most of which was random and I don't remember lol). At one point, he asked if I wanted a piece of candy, and pulled out a tiny sock from his drawer and took a piece of candy out of it to offer me. lol! I guess the idea was he was hiding it in a sock? Though that would have made more sense if it was an actual sock drawer! Anyway, I commented that the sock was awfully tiny, and he said "It's John Wayne's!" which obviously makes no sense but for some reason was absolutely hilarious in the dream. Then he asked if I would meet him after class for some "alone time" and I said I would (but of course the dream wouldn't last that long), and then we went to get the kids, who read short stories out loud.

Oh, that's a lovely one. And funny, too (Seems like the "Professor Rufus" discussion inspired you, huh?)

Oh, I think it did, KMK! ;D The knee touching seemed rather significant while I was dreaming it. He was very warm, like he radiated heat or something.

Isn't he hot? I had a little visit from him again tonight. Was watching some unknown film with him, curls and all, wearing something like Will Ladislaw's red coat - and he was actually SINGING A nice duet with somebody I can't remember. I didn't know the song either, and while it didn't sound like a professional singer, that lovely rough voice was just wonderful. Unfortunately I can't recall anything else
