Had a little dream of Rufus last night.  After taking myself to bed last night, my darling husband was snoring loudly next to me. So I angrily shushed him , tried to roll him over and ultimately left the bed for my son's bunk bed. After settling myself in the bottom bunk, I drifted off to sleep. In my dream my eyes open, the mattress above me in the enclosed bunk bed, was covered with pictures of Rufus. Then all of them changed rapidly, moving quickly before my eyes. Then it stopped and it was dark. My eyes was still open and then there was Rufus hovering over me. He was like a hologram. He smiled, and looked at me intensely, studying my face. Nervous and shaking I took a deep breath. His face came close to mine and he brushed his lips on my forehead, kissed my nose. He pulled back to smile at me again. Then he moved closer to my face. He spoke quietly and softly. " Close your eyes, time to sleep". I obediently did as I was told. I awoke with a little smile and a bit of a glow.  |

Aww, well it's a testament to what a wonderful place you guys have made that we're getting all these dreams, because we're spending all our time on here and our brains have a lot of Rufus to process. |

Ok - I have a little story to cheer you all up (well it made me laugh). I had a dream I was drinking tea with Johnny Depp, I asked him why he'd reduced his hours and was only working in IT part time now ?  WTF - No1 I hate tea 2. I'm not a big Johnny Depp fan I'd say - no feelings either way really 3. The company I referred to him working at hasn't been my employer for 11 years So - I am telling hubby about this and he says - that's funny I had a dream I was drinking tea with Rufus...... OMG - I turn my back for 2 minutes and he's stealing Rufus away ! So - I try to explain myself re JD. I say I'm not exactly a fan - but he seems like a really nice guy - he's nice to his fans etc, etc. Hubby replies - "Yes he is isn't he." Then I twig on he's actually still talking about Rufus while I am talking about JD. This is normal though - we frequently have long winded conversations where we're both talking about totally different people/things. ;D |

I just love Mr.Nell  I wish mine would treat Rufus as is - a top bloke and rid off his Ruphobia once and for all!!! |

I always think that my KK is so Rufus! (black short haired kitty) he is mighty handsome! He's due for dental this Thurs and I just dreamt taking Rufus to the CatClinic for it? I pulled him out of the carrier, weight him down; he lost apound and by the time they laid him down, he became KK!!! |

Dreamed of him this morning (fell asleep again after the first alarm). He was visiting me - I was still living at my parents' in the dream - with a friend, I guess it was Harry from TOTS. Looking very nice in that greyish suit he wore with the blue-and-red checked shirt at that interview early this year, hair nicely ruffled. We even joked a bit about the way it kept sticking up The bad thing in the dream was that my family kept me busy with stupid chores all the time while Rufus and his friend were sitting at the dining table - my sister wanted me to do her university timetable  , my parents wanted me to go to the bakery although they knew it was MY visitor and I wanted to stay with him, but they had some very urgent gardening to do - so I had to suppress my anger all the time and couldn't really enjoy Rufus's company. He and Harry were staying the night in the upstairs apartment, and I went there the next morning to pick them up for breakfast. Harry opened the door when I knocked and let out a scream because he was wearing just a towel around the waist, Rufus lounging behind him similarly dressed. I turned around so they wouldn't be too embarrassed and asked them to come down for breakfast. When they didn't come, I went back upstairs again (after quarrelling with my parents about the bakery shopping) and found that there was some large party going on and the guys had turned into two sour-looking hags who said they didn't want breakfast now because it had taken me so long But there was one very nice moment: while my sister was pestering me about her timetable and I was trying to sort that out on a piece of paper, Rufus sat beside me on a low chair, snuggling against me and looking up at me in that cute way (like the look we were swooning about in the Ross tribute video thread). I woke up quite grumpy, though, because so much went wrong in the dream  |
