farewell newbie felix... what a pity to arrive at the end of the party - not that you missed much, really...

farewell, fair marley... i have defended you from the start, as i knew your character would end up thawing at least a bit under the emerald gaze of the good doctor...

farewell, ridiculous equations written for no apparent reason on white boards and chalkboards all over the u.s. of a. ...

farewell to you all, obvious baddies... may you cause us to r.o.t.f.l. on other shows, with your 3 day beards, glauque eyes and depraved intentions...

farewell, ticking clock forever striking 11 in between our beloved doctor's clever repartees...

forever, dr. hood's collection of comfy sweaters and casual jackets... may you have inspired our boyfriends and husbands to dress in a relaxed AND sexy fashion forever...

farewell, pretty jacob... our favourite slightly mad, wildly enticing scientist... may your omniscience and omnicharm fill our doctor/patient naughty fantasies for years to come... and who, now, will be there to defend us against illegal cloners, population poisoners, brains meddlers, genetic manipulators, and other bilological war-farers?

farewell, rufus... may you rise from yet another dud and at last, at very long last, be one day on every billboard along my dayly commute... looking straight down at me everytime of course...

It was rarely given the chance to fulfill its potential until the very end, when Mr Gallagher added his talents to those of the actors, and the result was some very satisfying drama. Then, it was killed unceremoniously. If you look at the lack of promotion, the lack of reruns, and the pre-emptions, it seems someone in charge of cbs was never behind the show anyway. It may almost have been doomed before it started.

Now THAT alone would make the whole endeavor worthwhile!

As usual Tip, you nailed it perfectly. The sum was in this case not better than it's parts. He rose above the awful writing and still gave the show class. What a waste of talent, and shame on moonves for relegating this show to an after thought.

I agree famke. SG's writing was superb in my opinion. Just hope we get more of EH someday.

Hello everyone! I just found out "11th Hour" was cancelled. I'm so disappointed. Rufus took rather mediocre writing and transformed it into a work of art! Those associated with its demise should be ashamed of themselves.

Back from my trip to Liverpool and London. Glorious weather, no meetings with Rufus, unfortunately, but we had a blast.

Had to laugh - British Air featured Eleventh Hour as one of the on demand TV choices - at least 5 eps to choose from.

I declined.

Does anyone here know of any plans to have reruns of EH?

I was very upset when it got cancelled, that's the first time I ever heard of Rufus Sewell and I "fell in love" with him right away. Now I've been watching every movie he made, just got through watching "Tristan and Isolde" today. He's not only great to look at, but also a great actor. I signed up yesterday at Amazon.com to be notified when the DVD for EH will be available.
