Does anyone here know of any plans to have reruns of EH? I was very upset when it got cancelled, that's the first time I ever heard of Rufus Sewell and I "fell in love" with him right away. Now I've been watching every movie he made, just got through watching "Tristan and Isolde" today. He's not only great to look at, but also a great actor. I signed up yesterday at Amazon.com to be notified when the DVD for EH will be available. Hi Phyllis! *waves* It is doubtful that EH will ever have reruns, but we are hopeful that the DVD will be released. It was assigned a number over at Amazon and it was assumed (by even the creator of the show itself) that this was a good sign that it was on its way. It is a good thing that you signed up as well, as any interest shown can only help with its release.

I read these posts on the possible release of EH on DVD, I added myself on Amazon's list, not sure of any release date though. Lots of catching up to do, been gone a bit, but I am back. This weather has got me bummed out, plus I truly need a vacation. I haven't had a real "away" vacation in nearly three years. I will consider this board my summer reading!

Awww.... you guys break my heart calling EH a "waste of talent" how can you guys call anythng Rufus put his heart into by such a terrible name? Famke, to my way of thinking, calling EH a waste of talent isn't in any way denigrating the effort Rufus put in - if anything, he made it a lot better than it would have been because he did his best with the material he was given. Can you honestly say those scripts (save the two written by Stephen Gallagher) did justice to his abilities? With many of them, his heart must have sunk when he read some of the dialogue (e.g. talking about taking the dog for a "pee-pee" - oh, please!), and to that extent, an actor of his calibre was wasted. He deserved so much better. Just my humble opinion - no intention to upset or offend you.

One of my favorite EH episodes is when he barged in on Rachel in her apartment and found out she had a man in her shower. The look of confusion and surprise and jealousy (?) was priceless. He can say a thousand words with his facial expression alone.
I LOVED EH and was disappointed with its cancellation, but trying to find a way to see him again got me to discover all his other movies. Like I always say, "In the end, bad things happen for the best"

He deserved so much better. in a recent interview (link to which was posted here), our Green-Eyed Wonder declaired himself glad that EH was over, since during this period he felt "over-employed and under-used". we rest our case...

Here's one more who'll be happily coughing up the dough on EH when it comes out. Whether it really is worthy of many viewings, who knows, or cares? It stars Rufus. My strongest weakness. That's enough for me.

Hahahaha, i agree!!!! 18 whole episodes STARRING the exceedingly pretty Jacob Hood HAS to be better than some of the things we've bought for Roof's brief appearance!!!! (i know it was one of his first big roles, but i've been considering timing Will Ladislaw's actual onscreen time and working it out as a percentage of the entire 6 hours of Middlemarch - i was just a tiny bit comatose after watching it all in one very long evening!!! And am currently struggling my way through Hamlet on my old VCR because i couldn't get it on DVD - it seems to have been going for hours and still no sign of Rufus - AND you have to really concentrate on what they're saying!!!!) Bring on EH!!!!!
