Am I the only one creeped out by the fact that this woman hauls around a fake dog and pretends he's doing a blog? One of these days I'm going to run into her taking one of these weird pictures of her fake dog in front of a west side landmark and I swear I won't be responsible for what I say... We've got some truly nutty people in LA. Maybe I should get a fake cat and start a blog of my own... Please don't blame LA, this lady is a Brit after all and I'm pretty sure from reading her "dog's" blog that her tounge is planted firmly in her cheek the whole time. ;D The stuff dog thing did throw me a bit, but then I noticed that when she's in London, the dog is "real" but in LA its stuffed, so I assumed she can't take the dog out of the UK because of their stupid rabbies laws. I've thought way too much about this, haven't I? LOL. And Max, I'm sure your cat's blog would be fascinating. DAY 1 = Watched birds & laid in front of the fire. DAY 2 = Laid in front of the fire, watched some birds & neighbors. DAY 3 = Lazy day - just stayed in front of the fire today.

I love reading her blog but I wish she'd move back to the UK! How many times can you hang out with Simon Cowell, you know?

The dog was real when she lived in the UK. By now, if she was staying he should have passed quarantine. I know she came from the UK but really, no one grows these nuts like we do in LA. And she looks so Caaaallllifornia... and acts so LALALA.. do we really know she is not? Haven't we all... Maybe I could attach a camera and tow it around the west side taking sneak pictures of celebs as they pick up their dry cleaning, ride their bikes on the beach and do their shopping at costco on sunday mornings. naw... that's completely unrealistic.

We've got some truly nutty people in LA. Maybe I should get a fake cat and start a blog of my own... This lady has ALWAYS creeped me out, but I thought she was a friend of one of you guys! There's something a little freaky about someone that, not only uses a fake dog, but drops names and places out the wazoo! And she does look, act and sound VERY LA, whether or not she's truly a Brit! I think you should get a fake cat, run into the most famous people all the time and get your picture with them and put your fake cat in front of all sorts of famous places so that we know for sure that your fake cat has really been there! Then have your cat tell us every time you eat and where you were, who you saw and be sure to include just who all your cat will jump into the laps of, because we all need to know that! Maybe you can get a picture of her fake dog and your fake cat together! I'm fascinated just thinking about it. ;D As to Rufus being in Calgary.......and were any of us surprised to read how gorgeous he is in real life?........it seems he's flying the wrong way to get to Virginia or London......I agree that he'd probably go through Toronto. But then, I have never once flown from England to Canada or vice versa. Why is it that we think Alice is even in LA? I mean maybe on Oscar night......but do we know she's still there? Why does she have a place in LA anyway? I thought she did most of her work in the UK? Michelle

Celebrities aren't nearly as interesting in their natural habitat. They pick up their dry cleaning, shop and wait to return rental cars just like everyone else. Sometimes they even look worse than everyone else. Not everyone is Britney Spears. Thank heaven. And of course I'd have to give up Rufus completely because it takes a lot of time to play where in the world is Rufus and what in the world is he filming now... Ah the voice of reason. you're in the midwest, aren't you michelle?

Does anybody know who this Claire is? How does she happen to know so many celebrities?

She is apparently an ex supermodel a la Elle (her dearest friend) who now manages the fellow who hypnotises people. And can you tell that I waste too much time too!

I must be really behind the times but when did the mainland US start quarantining dogs/cats? Sorry, me bad, I can see how you got that by the way I phrased it. From what I understand, you can't move your dog/cat back and forth beetween the US & the UK, you have to choose one or the other for the pet to live if you are lucky enough to have places in both countries. Once her doggy touches anything other than UK soil, he can't come back to the UK without going through quarantine.

She stays in a hotel. Maybe the Chateau Marmont doesn't allow dogs as big as hers.
I do believe there is a scheme for dogs to travel back and forth without quarantine.

I didn't realize the dog was stuffed. Now I'm inclined to think she may be a tad nuts. She certainly seems to lead an exciting life, a heck of alot more exciting than mine where the high point of my day is getting another Rufus movie in the mail!

lemme tell you, the high point of a lot of my weeks is getting another Rufus movie... It means I can sit down and do something I love for a few hours.
(Are there any more Rufus movies by the way? Oh yes, The Holiday. I haven't seen that yet.)
