Hi everyone!
I've been lurking and reading this messageboard for a month now. I've had many chuckles with the way you all slobber about Rufus. And I have to admit, I do that, too. LOL
And what's worse is that my daughter is FOUR years older than Rufus. But, I'm not a cradle robber, am I? I'm just a wise judge of hunks.
Seriously, though, I had never heard of Rufus until I watched every episode of the Eleventh Hour and I instantly fell in love with his looks and admired his excellent acting ability. He can say a thousand words just with his facial expression.
I think he's one of the sexiest men I've ever seen. His eyes are mesmerizing, his nose is classic, his chinline is just perfect, his arms and hand are masculine, and the rest of him is just dreamy. Even his lazy eye and many scars are attractive and give him character.
Okay, I'm starting to slobber so I will stop here. Glad to be part of his "groupie", am very honored.
I've been watching his movies now. Have seen Dark City DC, Dangerous Beauty, Savage Land, and Tristan and Isolde, and have a few more coming in my Netflix list and reserved at the library.

Welcome to the funny farm, Phyllis! You have excellent taste in men, and actors, and that is never limited by age. Listen, you may have noticed that some of these new girls get a bit raucous sometimes, but their hearts are in the right place. Just don't let them lead you into trouble

Welcome, Phyllis - you are indeed a wise judge of hunks! Don't worry about the slobbering, that's just an unavoidable by-product of our infatuation, you won't notice it after a while.....
If you haven't already, check out Media for lots of pics, interviews, etc. Lovely to have you with us!

Thanks for the welcome, guys, much appreciated. To tell the truth, I felt like a traitor to Rufus for loving him but not honoring by joining a website dedicated to his idolatry. LOL
Oh, how I adolize him! Everytime I buy or rent one of his movies I watch it at least three times. I just finished watching "Tristan and Isolde" three times. If every man were like Lord Marke, I doubt there would be divorces. I would have liked a better ending. I think with Tristan dead, Isolde WOULD have learned to love Marke. Sigh!
And, I just laugh out loud hearing you people swooning and "fighting" over Rufus. I keep wondering what The Man thinks when he reads these posts. His head must be too big by now to fit through a doorway. Ahahaha! And I've been saving my favorite of his pics posted here in a word document, thanks a lot. I doubt I'll ever get enough of him now.

Hi Phyllis! Welcome to the fun! Rufus, that dear, sexy man has some special kind of chemistry, doesn't he? See? Here he is explaining it.

Phyllis, we all know that Isolde really did love Marke all along - the thing with Tristan was just a front!!!! Go back on the T&I thread a few pages and you'll find a version of what Isolde was really thinking - how could she NOT have loved him? ?? T&I PIC DELETED

WELCOME, PHYLLIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have some things in common. You live in Arizona. I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. Moved here to San Diego with my parents, sister and my daughter 22 years ago. Love it here... hated the heat of Phoenix.
My daughter may not be four years older than Ruf, but I must admit that she is a mere five years younger than Rufus. Which means that I am old enough to be his mother. So my feeling are strictly maternal, as you will note if you check out any of my posts. It's his talent I admire and worship, not his sexy-handsomeness, his gorgeous green eyes, lavishly-lashed eye lids, beautifully sculpted face,...... you know, I think I've posted something very similar to this when I welcomed another newcomer to our board of fanatic-Rufus-Fans. And, yes, here comes that hormone surge again.... hot-hot-hot in here !!!!! No estrogen pill for me tonight. We must make sure that Rai is some how able to block Ruf's attempt to read any of these posts, if he were ever to have the inclination to do so. Only the Administrative threads should be available to him Phyllis, have fun.... there are many lovely, funny and smart Adoring-Rufus-Fans to meet and with whom to share your thoughts, questions and concerns.

Hey guys, you don't have to sell me on Rufus. Even my daughter thinks he's hot and we both cried watching "The Woodlanders" and she though he was ultra-sexy when watching my copy of "In a savage land" that I let her borrow.
My being old enough to be his mother, I saw a cartoon once which might apply to me and Rufus:
This old guy asked a young thing, "Where have you been all my life" and she replied, "Well, for the first half of it I wasn't even born yet". LOL
Well, I'm just content to stare at him and drool, he's a sight for sore eyes. And such a great actor, too. Love you, Rufus.
