have just read on IMDb that Rufus is to make the Ushers with Claire Forlani and Dougray Scott starting in 2010. I know there have been rumours of this before but this seemed to be definite .Can anyone confirm?
If so , will it before or after TPOTE?

IMDB is a bit like Wikipedia, Francesca - a lot of the info is provided by members of the public making submissions.
It was officially announced at Cannes (although I'd spotted something about it before then on a French website), but one of our members, Rai, heard from Rufus himself that it was just a rumour.

What he said about The Ushers was it came as a surprise to him, Dougray Scott and Claire Forlani (they are husband & wife, BTW) when the announcement was made.
Then Pillars came up. So if it is ever to come to be, who knows.
I wouldn't rule it out, but I wouldn't bank on it either.
How's that for a non-answer? ;D

Maybe someone who really wants them to be in it used some ideas out of "The Secret" and put it out into the universe (or on IMDB at least, ha) hoping it would materialize.

That is my thought exactly. Although there ae many movies now using 3D in an unconventional way. Holmes with Robert Downey and Jude Law is using. If the script is not trite perhaps it can work. I guess I have a thing about scripts.
