that was fuuuun. thanks for the bday wish, glo, i just saw it today.
yes, i packaged the card quite tightly because a corner had been a bit busted earlier. someone added stiff cardboard as protection, that helped.
how could rufus not be charmed and touched by our group hug?
he will sigh, and bow his head, humbled by the earnest wishes. a tear will glisten in his dark lashes, and for a second, his warm, clear green eyes will be upon us, as he will whisper: "thank you girls. i love you too, you know..."
(what do you mean, wake up? a girl can dream, cant she?)

Today I returned home to find a "Sorry you were out" card posted through my door. It was addressed to miss DippyPonge. Hmmm, I wonder could that be the birthday card!! I am going to pick it up in the morning and I will post it to ellie as soon as I have signed it.  |

And i also love the idea that we're sending him a group hug, tip!!! Helps to quell the nervous embarrassment i'm starting to feel as it gets closer to him.

The card has arrived!!
It is fantastic and well done to Numbat for a brilliant design and making me roar with laughter this morning!!
I will be posting it out to Maz registered post Monday morning so it should arrive with her by Tuesday...and then on to dear, lovely Rufus..!!
