"You could do a Open University course" said My ( other ) Beloved as we lay in the sun, I was minding my own business and wondering why he wasn't doing the same. ( Do you have O.U in countries outsde the UK ? It is a scheme by which you can study for a degree from home in your own time and your own pace, via Tv and post . Invented by some loony politician who thought some people didn't have enough to do.)
" It would give you something to do" he said. ME , with a husband, 3 children , home , job and a very demanding Fantasy Lover. Haven't I got enough to do? Well ! I told HIM as you can imagine. After he went off with a smarting ear and I had sulked for about an hour, I thought its not a bad idea. I could study for a B.A or an M.A or even a Doctorate ! My given subject :.... RUFUS SEWELL ACTOR and FANTASY LOVER EXTRAORDINAIRE
I can just see myself lecturing my students on the fine points of his films such as discussing at length whether Chas 2 or A Knight's Tale (Count Adhemar) has the best views of his beautiful belly or argue about the length of those incredible lashes which is best long curls or shorter . You get the picture. Now all I have to do is to persuade the OU authority to set it up . Anybody want to join in?

Yep, we have those types of courses here in the US too! This type of course would require very explicit, detailed, exhausting study. Homework every night!

ROFLMFAO You crack me up Frannie!!!! I think we must be twins, hahahaha I propose that you should run the first one, and we should then take it in turns to run an argumentdiscussion about the subjects you have mentioned (and i'm sure we can think of many more!!!!) What a laugh

I'll join in!!! I've got a very busy year but I'm sure I would be able to find time... it's not about the subject, of course, I'm just thinking in my career, it would be interesting to teach older students, for a change and not philosophy, just to try, you know... I join in just to add something else in my C.V. Nothing to do with the subject, I promise! ;D

Having got my degree with the OU and having taken many OU courses besides, I can attest to the the amount of time, dedication and hard work needed. Yet, somehow, I think all that effort would be a whole lot easier with Rufie as the subject!!!

Because physical education is an important part of any well-rounded course of study, I propose the following classes (which, unfortunately, could not be completed online, but would require the sacrifice of in-person instruction):
Swimming: Instructor Agamemmnon [bathing suit optional] Diving: Instr. Mick Carpenter Baseball: Instr. Ross [bring your temper and a lock to bang on] Frisbee, Instr. Jacob Hood Soccer/Football, Instr Petruchio [high heels required] Fencing, Instr. Charles II First Aid, Instr. Lord Marke
I volunteer to be the teacher's aid for all practical demonstrations (well, except for First Aid, perhaps).

Hey I opened a fine kettle of fish here didn't I? I notice no-one has nominated a love making head of Dept as yet. I suggest Marko ( THC) or Petruchio but Chas 2 or Lord Marke could be secondaries.Seth or Billy would be good for practice For Finals ,I think we should have the delightful Mr.Sewell himself Any Objections??

I think an anatomy course is in order as well. Billy (GTS), John (DC), and Paul (V) would make great anatomical models. I volunteer to teach!
