My ex -hubby who just moved in the neighborhood to be close to our daughter and has been extra friendly lately (asking me to go on walks, ect.) just plopped down 5 grand to join an upscale dating service, as I am just his friend/ex (he just separated from wife #3). Well, with my b-day coming up, maybe when he & our daughter ask me for a GIFT suggestion, I can say...hmm a ceramic pig is nice, but, um, how 'bout sending me to New York City??? ;D And its for charity too!!! It can't hurt to ask, right?? Ha!!

No such luck. I jokingly suggested it when I saw him on the fourth. He asked about plane fare, hotel etc. I said "people still hitch-hike don't they?"
I'm just wondering what the tickets finally went for. They were at $985.00 when I last looked. Who knows, maybe they will do it with some more tickets. And I still won't be able to afford them.
