Oh, yes, dippy--you're a bit like Kate Winslet, only prettier.

Frannie, Frannie, Frannie. In the States, "Jekyll and Hyde" is a compliment, a term of endearment. We love people who say one thing and then turn around and do another. Look at our politicians. No one will vote for anyone who's not a big fat lying cheater. All of the various Frannies are welcomed and loved, even violent, deluded Frannie, because she's the funniest one of all! But GE2's right. He's still not yours. First ,To rueful in UK Jeckyl & Hyde refers to RL Stevenson's story of kind caring good Doctor , who changes at night into violent evil murderous Mr Hyde. Second ..to GE2 and others who expressed similar sentiments , may I remind you , it is MY world . MY WORLD and in Jagger's immortal words.. "HEY ! YOU! GET OFF MY CLOUD"

Here too frannie. But I meant it only in the most complimentary way, of course. Isn't your cloud big enough for all of us?

Sometime ago when I first discovered I had Rufusitis, it was a bit of a shock. It was worst when I found it was degenerating in all sorts of ways . Then I thought I had hit rock bottom ( or hit the top , if you are Rooftopper ) and I went into a sort of remission . Then I decided to download some of the wonderful wallpapers into my laptop. You see, I was ok when I was using the family PC No wallpapers of Rufus. Then I downloaded this one onto my laptop Bad MoveI talk to him I boot it up and there he is and I say "Hello Darling " I close down and I say" Bye Darling " I make a mistake and I say "What have I done Darling?" Even... "What are we going to do next Darling?" Is anybody else on this level ? If there is ,what do I do when he answers me ?

;D I'm using various wallpapers of the lovely man on my workplace computer, sometimes getting nosy questions like "Is this your boyfriend"? ;D And yes, sometimes I feel like he's going to talk to me any minute. Just make sure no one will hear the two of you chatting, Frannie! Is there such a thing as Carpenteritis, by the way? I mean, I'm a confirmedly hopeless case of Rufusitis, but on top of that I can't stop thinking about what we weren't told about Mick in the film. I've even started carrying a notebook and pencil with me wherever I go so I won't lose any ideas (as those tend to hit me out of nowhere in the strangest moments)

;D I love, love, love, love, love this thread. Frannie, fear not. I'm sure there are loads of others like you including myself. My laptop has known nothing but Rufus (background-wise) since late February of this year. I change the pic every week or so depending, but each time I turn on my laptop, enter my password, and the black fades quickly to colour, there he is. It makes me smile every single day whether the pic is serious or sweet, and I can never stop myself from murmuring a fond "hello sweetheart" or "hi baby" every time. If I've had a bad day, I'll look at him, sigh, and say "oh babes..." I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes that one day he WILL respond although unfortunately, that may be the day I'm finally carried off sporting a straitjacket...

I read through the hole thread, and I must confess, I feel very much relieved that I'm not the only one who is lax concerning her household duties, because there's much more fun on the RT! ;D ;D ;D

Count me in ladies! I suffer from the same symptoms and do all the same things! Rufus has changed my life since last January when I saw Zen. I was a fan before but after seeing Zen my life has changed completely because everything I do or say or see or hear has some aspect of Rufus Sewell in it.

;D Is there such a thing as Carpenteritis, by the way? I mean, I'm a confirmedly hopeless case of Rufusitis, I popped in before I go to bed and when I saw KMK's post I had to comfort her. Of course there is, Kate. They are called 'secondaries'. I have several myself : Petruchio first and foremost , then Zen and Mick , but Adhemar is fighting his way in . But then, who am I to talk to anyone I am the person who talks to the bouncing bubble notifier of her E-mails and I do have Aleksander Meerkat telling me I have a text so what do I know

I thought I was the only one (at least here in the states) that totally admired this man and have been slacking on my household chores because all I can do is stay on the computer looking for more Rufus stuff.
