Hi all, I just noticed a new type of ad on top of the board. It looks just like a menu with blue links to "Rufus Sewell", "Members", "Board", etc. This is however an ad that will take you to some weird search engine that has nothing to do with our board. Just fyi.

You know how the ad on top of the board changes all the time? It just so happened that when I looked at the board, the ad was that weird fake menu thingy. I guess it's just one of the rotating ads proboards allows.

No, that's not what Uke means, Dreamer. The ones you have quoted are the banner news items that I post for members.
Uke is talking about the ads that appear between that news banner and the pics of Rufus right at the top (on the home page) and between the pics and the board on every other page. That's the commercial banner you mentioned - if you don't get that anymore, you're the lucky one!

Glo is right, the fake menu is only for Englis speakers.

The stupid ads (not the "fake menu" ad) are now talking! I just got two in a row that said "Congratulations you've been selected to win ..." Aaaack! I hate when that happens.
