Looks like you've got a penchant for good cheekbones, KQ (me too!) When I saw Mads Mikkelsen as "Le Chiffre", I did think Rufus would have done a great job in that role, too

Thanks dear ladies... I do love cheekbones... ;D And although I love Rufus I think that it was Mads' gravitas and physicality that made him a fantastic Le Chiffre - (he was a dancer and a gymnast) while Rufus might have been too sympathetic and charming to make this villain really cruel - although I do get tired of Le Chiffre being the only role so many people know him from... RS & MM would make a brilliant team in a sexy screwball comedy... I recommend his Danish films as well as some fun but silly blockbusters such as King Arthur, Clash of the Titans and The Three Musketeers. For PURE beefcake try Valhalla Rising. Dangerous Beauty style hotness

Just like that cad from "The Holiday" who seems to be the only Rufus role people remember (he played that severely underwritten character so well that I actually ended up hating him!) or his - admittedly very very sexy - baddie Adhemar in "A Knight's Tale" Rufus is able to pull off the nasty thing quite well if he has to.

Thanks! I never saw "The Holiday" but I just got my copy of "The Knight's Tale". I want to finish TPOTE first - then I will look at KT! It must be wonderful acting on Rufus part for any of the RoofTopper Girls to 'hate' him! Kq

I've finally garnered the strength needed to post in this thread. I'll be completely honest. I'm very open when it comes to eye candy/crushes/whatever term you'd like to use. I keep a mental list in my head of the men who make me swoon, and I can't say I have a permanent #1 spot. My tastes don't change in the sense that I don't like people anymore and I get bored (because that's stupid and quite unfair), but I'm flexible. I'm sure I'll post more in here as time goes on, but for now, I'll limit myself to the one man I've been quite hooked on recently. Yes, ladies. The impeccable Clive Owen. (I've read through this thread, and I know a lot of you know him already. Surely another pic couldn't hurt, right?) I blame this on "Intruders," which I saw rather recently. It's stupid because I didn't even like that movie. (I had the whole plot figured out before the movie hit the 30-minute mark.) He was the sole reason I watched the whole thing. He's a prime example of what "tall, dark, and handsome" is supposed to look like. I can't help but swoon when I look at him. CLIVE, Y U SO BYOOTIFUL? D; ETA: I'm sorry if the picture is too big. I didn't realize it was going to be that large when I posted it.

Went to see Twelfth Night on Twelfth Night 2009 and Mr Clive Owen came and sat in the row just in front of me. Was totally speechless. Would like to say that I struck up a conversation with him, but I didn't as the only film of his I could remember was Croupier (the film in which he looked like a future Bond).

He is a hunk, but I just discovered a heart-throb of mine from years ago -- the one and only jeffrey hunter. don't have a photo, but check him out at IMDb. He died way too young.

Thecrownprincess...Bravo! Great Taste!
Have you seen 'King Arthur'? My other perversion Mads Mikkelsen was in that one along with Clive!

^ Thank you! "King Arthur" was on AMC earlier this week, but I missed it. :[ Not to worry, though. If it came on once, it can come on again.

Christopher Pike of Star Trek ? Great Choice! My ex was a mad Star Trek original series fan and we both agreed that Pike was a much more dramatic deep intense captain than that other fellow ! Wonderful taste anglophile!

I need to revive this thread since I've been extremely taken with Damian Lewis recently, both in "Band of Brothers" and "Homeland". Before, I couldn't even have put a face to the name What an incredibly talented actor. And attractive, too (first redhead ever I found good-looking). No dangerous competition for Rufus, but * * nevertheless. Damian Lewis Rupert Graves[If you haven't seen Damian and Rupert together in The Forsyte Saga you really should} Oh. My. God. Must. Have.
