Oh you bunch of hussies ! ;D
For me it's Rufus, My long suffering hubby & sometimes Josh Holloway (although it put me off a bit when I saw Josh plastered with tatoo's. They weren't even real but it was enough !)
So fickle < sigh>

Frannie...had to laugh that M(o)B was listed as 2. Mine probably feels that way when he comes home from work and I am on the computer looking/reading Rufus stuff! Thankfully he has a good disposition about it all...haha.

Now come on ladies. I think we can take it as given that we all love Rufus (because lets face it - we wouldn't be here if we didn't) and we all love our hubbys or significant others (because we wouldn't all have put up with them for as long as we have otherwise!!!) The point of this thread is to confess that we have fancied another from time to time!!! No hiding behind Roof's fantastic ass. Come out and confess, otherwise start another thread called "Non-confession" where we can all talk about how we only have eyes for Rufus/hubby. But to make this one interesting, why don't we diverge a little into the concept of a celebrity free pass. I'd actually be interested to see if there is a similarity/common ground with the other men who might catch our eye from time to time seeing as we're all quite obviously attracted to Rufus. So, given that we all love our significant others and would obviously never, ever cheat on him/her/it, if we lived in fantasy land where you could with no repercussions whatsoever, who would be your top five celebrity free passes? I will start the ball rolling if you like: 1. Rufus (obviously - i did contemplate just typing Rufus 5 times, but that's not the point of this, ladies!!!) This is funny - i know she doesn't really like those amateurs. She must be bored. Hey numbat, i thought you had a story to write!!2. Manu Bennett (played Crixus in Spartacus - has a voice of pure honey and a truly spectacular body. That's what a month in gladiator training camp will do for you!!!) 3. Owain Yeoman (the Mentalist, Kitchen Confidential, The Nine - single handedly responsible for turning me vego!!!) 4. Alex O'Loughlin (Moonlight, The Back-up Plan, soon to be Hawaii Five-0. My favourite Aussie vampire) 5. Tom Hardy (The Take, Wuthering Heights, Bronson, RocknRolla - wonderfully, wonderful as Heathcliffe, but i still wished it was Rufus playing the role!!! Soon to appear in a remake of Mad Max!) I'm not saying you have to love them so much that you'd sleep with them (although you can if you want under the terms of the celebrity free pass!!!), but who are the other actors that you're interested in??? Because lets face it, as much as we'd like to watch nothing else but Rufus, he doesn't produce nearly enough work to satisfy us solely. So who else do you watch in those quiet times between Rufus??? BTW poor Damian Lewis is now sixth on my list having been usurped recently by Manu Bennett!!! And i would have included my favourite F1 driver Mark Webber, but he's not an actor!!!

Am I going to be the only faithful one around here???! Seriously, I can only cope with one crush at a time! However, can I introduce another element - if you don't mind, that is, Numbat? How about also including those you've had girly crushes on in the past, to see how/if they compare to Rufus? Mine are as follows (with pics from the shows/film that hooked me on them)(oh gawd, these are going to show my age! ): Pete Duel (Alias Smith and Jones) James Stacy (Lancer) Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky and Hutch) (okay, stop laughing! (and this isn't from S&H, but it reminds me of a certain other person...) Martin Shaw (The Professionals) Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing) Then I had mini-crushes on people like John Hannah (no, I can't explain that one either now), Ray Stevenson (but only when he was in a series called City Central) and Nathaniel Parker (various) THEN.......... It actually was that wink that hooked me! As for similarities, all have/had dark hair at the time I fell for them. Most had curls (except for Pete Duel). Many had slightly hair chests. I don't think any of the others had green eyes. All made me go "gahhhhhhh" at the times I crushed on them. There! I've confessed! I feel better now. ( Numbat, this really does deserve a thread of its own! Rufus v Who? or Who Was Before Rufus? maybe? I'll transfer my contribution over if you start one)

GE2 I understand you!, but I think that my boys will for laughs, but it's not important for me at this moment. no.1 - I will not comment no.2 - Russell Corowe, A Beautiful Mind_ it is my most favorite. no.3 - Alan Rickman - phenomenal actor, and that his voice ..... no.4 - Ian Stenlake - ( Sea Patrol serie) some of his acting could I doubt, but it reminds me strongly of my first great love (the real), it's Australians no 5 - Angus Macfadyen - (Braveheart, Equilibrium .... Eleventh Hour .....), excellent actor and I love him also for his crazy images that he paints. no.6 - Michael Flatley - It's not an actor but a dancer and choreographer ( Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, Celtic Tiger, 2001: A Space Travesty Feel free to laugh girls!

There you go, it's not that hard is it everyone!!! I just thought that seeing as this was the confession thread that we should be confessing something!!!
And we all must have had a crush on someone else in our lives - if i went back over all of them (especially music related ones from my teenage years), i'd never get off this computer.
My head and heart are filled to overflowing with Rufus (good lord, i spent most of the day writing about Jacob, and still managed to watch Vinyan!!!), but it's just a bit of fun to have a look at the other lads you might look at/have looked at and thought "nice"!!!
Stama - have you really watched Sea Patrol??? I'm impressed!!!
And kygal, i saw George the other night in the (kind of) reunion show for ER. It was so good to see Doug Ross again. I can take or leave George usually, but i did love him as Dr Ross. And Carter needing a kidney transplant and them never knowing it was he who received it was excellent (I'm assuming you've seen it!!!) I haven't watched ER for a long, long time, but that episode was really nice!

Ah, okay, my 5 crushes other than Ru (who is and always will be #1 for me) are:
1) Johnny Depp - good looks, amazingly talented and a staunch refusal to be made into a Hollywood pretty boy make him irresistible
2) Robert Downey Jr- again, talent, good looks and a Phoenix-like ability to rise honour of the ashes of addiction earn my respect and lust !
3) Brad Pittt - fell for him in "Thelma and Louise" and haven't gotten up yet! Talent, good looks, humanitarian and loves kids - what more could younask for?
4) Richard Burton - one of the most talented and raucous stars ever, he was a true talent that often went overlooked because of his relationship with Liz Taylor, but inalways thought hebeas a man's man and so masculine and rugged.
5) Michael Hutchence (from INXS) - tragically died way too young, but his talent and sexy onstage presence always won me over.
That's my list for men........

LOL ! GE2 I hadn't heard of the top 2 - however I might I have liked the bottom 3 a bit at one stage. Particularly the last one of course. I am obviously far more saintly than you numbat. Rufus has really replaced Josh Holloway in my affections but there were 1 or 2 before him. The tats appeared about the same time as EH - the rest is history. Tom Hardy is one of my favourite actors. I loved him in Bronson (which I thought I'd hate) and Cape Wrath (if you've not seen the later numbat you should - he was brilliant). He was pretty warm in Wuthering Heights, but I can't say I fancy him normally. If we're going to dig a bit back here goes. How embarrasing ! My first. Tried to find a pic where he didn't look like a puff - obviously failed. I even went to see him in concert. Kurt Russell - I had a bit of a thing for Kurt, but not in current time mode. As he was in the 80's - Overboard period. Then came Josh Holloway. I had quite a job selecting a pic Maybe I'm not quite over him yet Just realised I havn't got one showing his lovely smile Here you go then. ;D

Mmmmm, i don't think so Oh, sorry nell, you mean in terms of Rufus love!!! I thought you meant in general where i'm quite obviously the saintliest person on this board!!! ;D In terms of Rufus love, i'm still reeling from not being able to fly for 22 hours to London at great expense (both financially and to my marriage i expect!!!) for Nocturne. So i don't think we need to start arguing about our level of Rufus adoration!!! As i said, just a bit of fun!!! Everyone's Rufus love is without question in my book - otherwise we wouldn't be here would we?

I'm having a bit of a problem with this because I can only think of four definites at the moment: 1. Robert Downey, Jr. (in anything I've seen so far) 2. John Simm (Doctor Who, State of Play) 3. Paul Gross (Due South, Slings and Arrows) 4. Patrick Stewart (in *anything* but Next Gen) 5. Changes from week to week. Gotta keep my options open Right now, it...Paul Bettany. (Another confession, possibly for another thread: I watched Legion 'cuz he was in it.), Lots of the guys that others mentioned here float in and out of fifth place. Stama: I am *definitely* not laughing at your choice of Michael Flatley. Me, I could go for Daire Nolan (played the Dark Lord in Lord of the Dance). ...I can't believe I just said all this. I'd better post this before I lose my nerve!
