I shared some of your "girly crushes" GE2! I'll have to think on that some more and see if I can find photos to match. But for the rest of the men who currently fill out my Top 6 ... with Rufus obviously in the Number One spot! ... 1. Rufus! 2. Gerard Butler 3. Jeffrey Dean Morgan 4. Henry Cavill 5. Gilles Marini 6. Hugh Jackman

GE2, I think you and I are twins, separated by a continent! Your list of "previouslies" is almost identical to mine (although frankly I had way more than five)! That also includes most of your mini-crushes. I'd have to eliminate Martin Shaw and Ray Stevenson, since I haven't heard of them. In their stead, I nominate: Tom Selleck I thought I was the only person in the world who loved Peter Duel. I was so sad when he died. I even used to sit through reruns of the dreadful Gidget (Sally Field) in hopes that he'd make an appearance (as her brother in law). So what do our men have in common, besides dark hair? They are all (or at least seem to be) highly intelligent, and they all have wicked smiles and a great sense of humor. So that just proves we have always had great taste. Finally, I'm going to throw in a brief list of "recentlies," so that you don't think I stopped lusting from afar in the mid-1970s. These were some of my men before Rufus. (I suspect they weren't aware of it though.) Hugh Laurie Anthony LaPaglia Clive Owen Also, for the record, I have never, ever posted on a single other website before or since, Rufus, so you are definitely in a class by yourself!

Stama - have you really watched Sea Patrol??? I'm impressed!!! We, we know many Australian movies and TV series, one TV station specializing just non - American movies and series, All of Saints and McLeods daughter we can see several times in succession. Even in Communist times, we could see some Australian series Flying doctors I think it's called??? You have a nice boy, too!!! ;D ;D

Stama: I am *definitely* not laughing at your choice of Michael Flatley. Me, I could go for Daire Nolan (played the Dark Lord in Lord of the Dance). Yeah! I know him very well, after all, was the second principal dancer and then he was on the jury for a one dance competition!!!

I confess I have never been a real fan before Rufus and I'm still a fan just of him. But I've had a sort of crush on: 1 - Rufus Sewell (he joins skill, talent, beauty and fascination) 2 - Johnny Depp (very versatile actor and intriguing man) 3 - Viggo Mortensen (a well-rounded artist a man too) 4 - Michael Weatherly ( (a real crush on him as "Only Eyes", alias Logan, for his beauty, the smile, the height, his hands and eyes... and he looked like a friend) 5 - Adrien Brody & Hug Jackman As actors I lately like James McAvoy and since his youth Leo Di Caprio.

Judy - I think it's funny that with the exception of Rufus, who is of course unique - all your pics look like they could be the same person.

Excellent work ladies - isn't it amazing how different they actually all are. Just shows what a bunch of individuals we all are!!! ;D Hey judy - i like everyone on your list except Huge Ackman (i know, i know, i should be more patriotic, he even went to drama school here in Perth, but y'know!!!) A few comments: Jeffrey Dean Morgan - responsible for my biggest ever tv meltdown/sobfest (until i watched The Woodlanders of course). The season finale of Greys where he died as Kathryn Heigel was on her way to see him - in her ball dress - had me sobbing for hours. Greys has never been that good since and now i don't even watch it, but that episode Henry Cavill - Should have been Tristan, should have been Henry VIII, should wear clothes much less often And Gillies Marini - i nearly fell off my chair when i saw that picture!!!! I didn't even know his name, but he's the ONLY reason i still watch Brothers and Sisters. JUST MARRY HIM SARAH, YOU STUPID, STUPID WOMAN!!! But hey, we all know none of them hold a candle to: And don't you forget it young lady............

Maybe I could find a photo of Roof that more resembles the rest of those blokes. But Rufus does share several of the qualities of those other guys - tall (6-ft plus), broad-shouldered, dark-haired, square-jawed, oh-so-masculine. I'm going to have to stop now and begin fanning myself.

Greys has never been that good since and now i don't even watch it, but that episode I developed my crush on him from P.S. I Love You, which is a guilty chick-flick pleasure of mine. Ridiculous movie, I can't stand Hilary Swank, but G.B. and J.D.M. in one movie? Sigh. Plus you get to see J.D.M.'s very fine backside. I completely agree. LOL! Of course, you must have seen HIS fine backside (and more!) as the "Naked Neighbor" in the first Sex & the City movie!?! He wasn't on-screen all that much, but the shower scene ... LOL! Absolutely no way in the world would I forget my Number One!

I agree with you Numbat, those with Jeffrey Dean Morgan were my fav episodes of Grey's, and I liked him and I too cried. Clive Owen is sexy and I appreciated also Jude Law in many films. The list would be too long, I love good cinema and I saw a lot of movies, even small. From the past I had a crash on Warren Beatty, Timothy Hutton and Michael York.

My blast from the past is Paul Darrow who played Avon in Bake's 7 - a UK Sci Fi programme in the early 1980's. I can't seem to get a picture of him to appear here, but if anyone could it would bring back memories.

Rueful, if you get BBC America, you might have seen "Judge John Deed" or "Inspector George Gently" - that's Martin. He looks like this now: I'm surprised you haven't heard of Ray Stevenson - he was in "Rome", but when I liked him he looked like this: and this And talk above of Paul Darrow made me think of my very very first crush (okay, I do wonder about it now!), Henry Darrow in The High Chaparral:
