Dear Ms Judypatooty,
Does this mean i have to finish watching PS I Love You??? I have it on my DVR but can only watch it in 5 minute increments because of the crying (mine).
Slowly and tortuously i have got as far as her coming home from the funeral and putting the box on the end of the bed. Does the crying factor reduce or increase or the movie progresses???
Given that i don't even like James Franco, yet i still cry every time he says "I don't know if life is greater than death, but love was more than either" and promptly dies, i'm not sure that "dead husband leaves love letters" is a movie that i will ever make it to the end of!!!
Your advice would be appreciated.
Yours in anticipation, Numbat ;D
PS Do you think GE2 would let me post those photos i PMd you of Gilles Marini??? Are we depriving the other girls by keeping them to ourselves???

Dear Ms Judypatooty, Does this mean i have to finish watching PS I Love You??? I have it on my DVR but can only watch it in 5 minute increments because of the crying (mine). Yes. You must at least fast-forward to the point in the movie where Hilary Swank and her girlfriends go to Ireland. That's when they meet J.D.M. and his ridiculously-bad Irish accent. That's the point where you get to see his fine bod. LOL! I didn't want to be responsible for women fainting all around the world. I purposely selected the least faint-producing photo I could find. Plus, those hotter pics you sent me ... and even more ... are easily found by Googling! Which I highly recommend. ;D

Yes people, please google images of Gilles Marini - Judy & I highly recommend it. If you're not sure who he is, he plays Sarah's french boyfriend in Brothers & Sisters and was Samantha's nudeneighbour in the first Sex & The City movie. If you do, make sure you go to the second page of images. Bottom row. Just saying......... And he seems to be a very nice person - so we're not just objectifying him!!! (well not much anyway ;D)

Numbat, FOUND IT! The one with the baby oil. Yummy is all I can say! In fairness, I think Ru would look even better in that um, position, if we were to do a comparison. And I do wish we could.......

I agree totally rugirl & nell ... I'd think I had died and gone to heaven if I ever saw Rufus in photos like those! The pose that I really wish we could see Rufus in is the photo involving a bed with yellow sheets.

I haven't seen those shows, but I realize I did see him in a couple of Adam Dalgliesh movies. He didn't make much of an impression, but I think I had found Rufus by then, and already had a one-track mind. One of my favorite Magnum PI episodes was when Henry Darrow was on it, so you're not alone in that weird crush either. Very, very nice to look at. It's no wonder Nell is so obsessed with bird-watching.

I think of these "others" as a fun diversion to entertain me until Himself decides to come out of hiding.

Yes Mr Marini is very nice , almost very very nice but nobody but nobody turns me on quite like a certain green eyed curly gentleman . ;D Hahahaha, absolutely Frannie, and the same goes for the rest of us without saying!!!! But, as we discussed earlier, that's not the point of this thread!!! I mean hey, i've now written over 117,000 words of Rufus fanfiction and not one single word of Gilles fanfiction, so i think my affections are well and truly known. And we all have an ever growing DVD collection, spend our free time logged on here, have more Rufus photos on our PC's than we have time to look at, and our friends & families think we're a little bit insane (if we've actually told them that is!!!) BUTM. Marini is an exceptional piece of eyecandy with an very cute french accent, so while we wait for some action on the Rufus front, you might like to watch this clip from Brothers & Sisters - the first part is a very nice bedroom scene followed by the very, very funny swimming pool scene. For those of you who don't watch B&S, the two guys on either end of the line of spectators are a gay couple (the one with the towel over his head isn't gay), as is the older man who arrives near the end, which is what makes the scene so funny. Keep watching til the end - my favourite line "don't give him a towel" ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE6WQXjf4B0(somehow i imagine this is what we'd be like if we "accidentally" happened upon the hotel that Rufus was staying at and "accidentally" happened to be at the pool at the same time!!!) Later: Good lord, and he dances too.......... If there is one show that i despise it's Dancing With The Stars (the Aussie version anyway - and i'm sure they're all as bad as each other), but if i was in the US i might have been otherwise convinced. What a good job they're all on youtube (or maybe not a good job seeing as i have tax returns to do!!!). If anyone wants to see a bit of Gilles DWTS action let me know and i'll post a link to a good one (well they've all been good so far..........) Judypatooty, i blame you completely for this! Later again: Oh for god sake, i'm just going to post the link anyway. The Paso Doble - i've always liked this dance because let's face it, it's blokey and sexy and that's what we like don't we?? So have a look if you like - he's very, very good (and his adorable son is in the clip as well); www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ba5AxwFxYs&feature=related um, the Salsa was good too......... www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzOZ9aGoNxk&feature=relatedOK, enough of that, i'm going to watch Episode 2 of Charles II now Tax.......what tax.......... ? Pah! He might be able to dance, anyone can dance! I bet he can't fence like i can.............

LOL ! This page came up in my google alerts. Having not watched Brothers and Sisters before I expected it to be a bit like Sons & Daughters for obvious reasons. How wrong can a girl be ? The clip reminded me initially of a similar bit in Lost where Sawyer was buttering up some lady in order to rip her off. Smmoth hey ! I never actually watch these dance shows normally as I find them a bit poncey. Only a couple of times did I actually see any of the shows. John Sargeant was entertaining. Link below for those not initiated with the fiasco that meant he was voted to stay week after week www.youtube.com/watch?v=umEShQ2SXK8and Gethin Jones - because he comes across as a very nice guy. Not that he's ugly or anything. Incidentally Gethin was outside my office block last week cutting sods ! www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0qkoqHAZ7w
