Ok people. I know not everyone will be interested, but for those that are, i wanted to let you know that i've finally plucked up the courage to post my Jacob & Rachel story, A Warm Weekend, on fanfiction.net. Only Chapter One (Desire) is up so far, but will try to post a chapter a day as i'm still fine tuning it as i go. YAY! So glad you did this! Its great! Someone at Planet Hood as already comented on it at that sight (as well as me). You will not regret it...its as good as any of the others. Dont chicken out on the rest though!

They will love it! I did not mention I had already read it...but I wanted to. Stop by PH, the gals would love it. Lots of good EH fanfic writers there as well. Since the series was cancelled...the fans really love to read anything EH to keep the characters alive and stories ongoing! Still a great amout of interest and hits at EH FF.
Cant wait for more EH (J and R) fanfics and anything Rufus fanfics.

Have just posted chapter 6. Oh well, once you've said the "E" word once, it becomes much easier!!! Will i manage chap 7 though???  |

You're just teasing me now rueful!!! And i can't look at that last photo (but i have saved it to my screensaver ) Anyone who's read it before, may have noticed a few changes that i've made to the story in the process of posting it - it's now even longer for a start because i keep including extra conversations that they need to have. The next chapter got so long that i had to re-edit it and push some of it to the following chapter. It has a different soundtrack song as a result but i kinda like it, as does Jacob (you will too rueful!!). Of course the next chapter is the one i will truly burn in hell for, so if you never hear from me again, you know where i am!!! Stop looking at me like that Rufus! |

Absolutely, unbelievably, adorable!!! (and made even better by the fact that it's Rufus - not a character he's played - and he's smiling!!! We love "The Look" but i'll take this look anyday!) Here, I'll post it again just so we can look at it some more!  Oh, and the completed story (all 20,256 words of it) is now up on the site. Thank god it's finished |

And speaking of adorable photos, i haven't seen this one doing the rounds before (although i'm sure others have!!)  Apparently taken on his 40th birthday arriving at the "Angel Ball" - perhaps that's why he already looks a bit skew wiff and doesn't seem to have shaved (not long enough to be designer stubble - just looks like 7 o'clock shadow). I wonder which lucky woman took the opportunity to fix up his bow tie for him - he looks delightfully unposed! |
