Thanks Rueful - much as I thought. Looks like I'll have to take out a second no wait.. .4th mortgage and buy the boxed set from a source I trust. I can't believe they've not brought it out in the uk. What are they thinking ?

Forget the ironing and just watch the dvd.....I discovered a great product, not sure if it is available where you are, called Downy wrinkle releaser.....I'll never iron again!

I got my EH DVD box yesterday, and it plays on my Region 2 DVD player without any problems! So I won't have to worry about boredom during ironing for the next 18 weeks Love the blurb on the back cover: "Sewell brings a nice touch of eccentricity and wry humour." That's my Rufus Then I didn't have a special edition - it really does play on region 2 everywhere. Or rather it is a regionfree edition. ;D

Hey ladies, that sounds great! I think I must check whether my new "Gone to Seed" is of the same type - then I could see it on the TV screen and not only on the smaller computer monitor!

Hope you're luckier with GTS than me, walt, mine doesn't play on the Region 2 player

I'm afraid GTS is really regioncode 1 - so far I can only play it on my computer.

Sadly I must confess that you are both right about the region code on GTS, Kissmekate and Zenina - mine works only on the computer

So, I was just searching through my parents' rubbish bin for something I accidentally threw away there yesterday and found a receipt for amazon that said 'The Eleventh Hour' (6 Discs DVD)!!!!! It kills the birthday surprise, yes, but at least I know who I'm spending my birthday night with....the gorgeous Dr. Jacob Hood. About time, too!

Oh, Meg, it's always a bad idea to go rummaging through anything right before your birthday (tut, tut ...) (But that's a gorgeous gift - you'll love Jacob, I'm sure!)

Unless your Mum's developed a sudden secret liking for Rufus, and she bought them for herself?! (But I'm sure she'll share!!)

Great birthday gift Just watched Subway - two more episodes then I'm through and can start all over again. ;D ;D And I will get myself through Olfactus, concentrating very hard on Jacob and on nothing else

@ge2, while that is a very valid statement, I doubt it. LOL, Meg - I was only kidding!
