Starz has opened a website for The Pillars. The good news is that if they do with The Pillars the same as they've done with other series, the episodes of The Pillars will be online for everyone to see. Now, if you look to the right of the website, you'll see that they already opened an area called EPISODES. Those who can't access Starz will probably be able to watch it online. Here is the link: www.starz.com/originals/ThePillarsOfTheEarth/

I doubt it will work for people outside of the US either maz. I think it has to do with licensing arrangements - TV companies outside of the US won't be in a hurry to pay for it if it has already been shown online. Starz only have the rights for the US.
The "Episodes" facility will be to enable those inside the US to view the episodes after they have been shown by Starz. So great for those in the US who don't have Starz, but not a solution for us outside of the US.
Any online viewing we do will have to be via another source of much more dubious character i expect. And i'm quite sure none of us would watch something from a site like that now, would we!!!

I may be the eternal optomist but I believe the BBC or some other company will pick it up as soon as they see the reception in US. So I am hoping that for Rufus and you guys in the UK itdoes well. I will be glued to the TV at least as long as Tom Builder is around.

It will become down loadable with file sharing, then i can copy and share with you all. Currently doing the same thing with season four of the Tudors thats on showtime at the mo, so don't panic

not that i want to brag, or turn the knife in the wound or anything (ahem) but may i remind you that OUR OWN CANADIAN CBC is partner to this project, and that AS A PROUD AND GRATEFUL CANADIAN i will probably be among the first here to see TPOTE on MY BIG TV SCREEN.
what is nice about the internet is, you cannot really get your clothes dirtied by rotten tomatoes thrown at you.

LOL Tipou! You are so wicked...
And Mia, thank you so much for the tip on the website episodes! I currently do not get Starz, but was considering adding it to my cable package just to see this. Now I won't have to.
For those of you who won't be able to watch it immediately - you have my sympathy (sigh...hugs). However, I'm sure it will end up on DVD, YouTube, or elsewhere eventually. Good things are worth the wait!
