I don't think complaining would make any difference, IMHO - it's not like Starz made TPOTE and would want to test the waters for overseas sales.

To be honest, since a lot of European money was involved in the production, I thought we'd probably see it before the US. Ho-hum.

Here here GE2 and with so many British actors in it too ! What are they thinking ? Or perhaps just not thinking......duh !

Ha Ha Numbat. Saw the preview while watching Starz the other day. Since its not shown in a theater...wonder if there will be any celeb events or interviews coming our soon.

I agree with numbat, enough with the teasing!!! I know I'm way too sensitive and paranoid and totally in lust but this is beginning to concern me. Tom Builder is a MAJOR character in POTE. However we see quick look-now-or-you'll-miss-him spots in the trailers. We see lots of McShane and Sutherland and other actors though. I know IMDB is not very accurate at times but they have him listed way at the end and in "unknown episodes". Does he have a major role or not?

I'm with you, wichi ... why isn't Tom Builder featured more prominently? Follett has even said that TB is his most popular character ever. If the scriptwriters even remotely followed the book, TB will be THE main focus of at least the first couple of episodes ... or in other words ONE-QUARTER OF THE WHOLE SHOW!!!

(Can you tell I'm frustrated?) ;-)

P.S. Isn't that Roof's voice at the very end saying "It's a song. It's a song of what will be." ?? Talking about his cathedral? Or was it just my lust-fogged ears?

I'm not sure if it's his voice. I heard the trailer a couple of times now and I'm not sure. I would say it's not his voice.
But - as I'm from Germany - how can I see TPOTE?

Nicole, the Starz website promises that the episodes will be online at some point. Whether that's in July is anyone's guess. AND if Starz makes the website available to people outside the US is a guess too.

I do not think that IMDB knows what episodes will air when. Tom Builder is featured prominently in the beginning of the book and built the original cathedral. He is the foster father of the main character and is a big part of his upbringing. I tend to think trailers are more about showcasing individuals in need of showing therefore the young actors are shown. But this I can tell you. I was absolutely in love with Tom Builder's character. He was a genuine person and not shallow. I am hopeful I will not be disappointed. But if Starz gives me too much of characters I am not crazy about I will just discontinue that service and wait for Aurelio Zen.

I did got the sites for Ian MacShane and Eddie Redmayne and the episodes for these actors are clearly posted as is Matthew Macfadyen. Donald Sutherland and Rufus Sewell have unknown episodes. That may not mean anything but it is very disconcerting. I guess I will order Starz for July and if I do not see any Tim Builder I will not bother to continue that service.
