The Backup Button

After yesterday's disaster, can I suggest that if you don't want to lose your PMs (should it happen again) you back-up your own messages?
If you go to your own PMs page, you will see at the top left the Back Up Messages link. Click on that and you get:
From this page you can download a backup of all of your personal messages. You may only use this feature once every 30 days for your account.
Here is the process for downloading a backup of your personal messages:
1 - Click the button at the bottom of this page labeled "Backup Personal Messages."
2 - Your account will be added to a queue for processing. The average time for backups being completed is 2 minutes.
3 - When your personal messages are done being backed up, you will receive a Personal Message in your inbox stating that your messages are ready for downloading.
4 - You have up to one (1) week to download your backup before it is removed from the server.
It also tells you if you backed up within the last month. Of course, this back-up will also be on Proboards servers, BUT maybe not on the same one as any future failure!
