My friend found the same, Nell. In fact, now she's getting the "change your vote" message that she wasn't even getting before!
Having said that, Rufus is well ahead of McAvoy now!

Nell, my friend has had no problems like that. If you (or your friend ) follows Rueful's instructions exactly she should see the count rise after each vote. She does need to close the browser window after casting her vote and then do the "In Private" process again ... accessing the website from a fresh Google search each time. Modified to add ... I just tried the process ... just to make sure my friend was doing it correctly you understand. And it's working! 1. Click on Tools 2. Click on "InPrivate Browsing" 3. A new browser window should open up. 4. In the new window, go to Google and do a search for "Hollywood Spy" 5. Click on the link to the website 6. Vote 7. Close the browser window. 8. Lather, Rinse, & Repeat.

Hmmm. Your friend must have gotten a defective copy of IE8. Oh well. As long as Roof beats McAvoy!

It's nice we all have so many friends, isn't it? Maybe the British IE8 is just too honest, proper and dignified to stoop to vote fraud. Fortunately, the Chicago IE8, after years and years of practice at political corruption, knows just how to scam the system.

Nice surge! Yes..nice friends. Way to go Chicago! Hopefully Rufus will keep second....to me that means he won. Still think GB is not British and should be disqualified...haha. Doubt the poll or GB fans will agree. 9 hours to go...at first I thought it said 9 days.

When I ... I mean, my friend ... voted this morning the count didn't go up immediately.

Less than 2 hours to go !! My friend managed to get the votes to work today to begin with but she says it's back to change your vote again as it was yesterday. She thinks maybe it only allows a limited number of votes. Maybe about 50. She noticed the GB count seemed to be going up at the same pace so either it's rigged to pinch Rufus's votes or GB's 1 fan is sitting and voting all day long. I mean Gerrard who ? I really wish we could have kicked GB's ass ! ;D

I have a friend who couldn't sleep last night. Stayed up late voting for Ruf and noticed after a while GB's numbers started adding 2 for every Ruf vote. My friend wondered if HWOOD SPY was on to her and thought it only fair to add votes to GB. The count was up to 460 when she went to bed at 1am.It was sickening to see GB'S count go up everytime she voted for Ruf. Rigged, um hum, that's all I can say. (My friend is a huge Charmin Charlie fan, wink, wink)

We're so fortunate to have such supportive friends, aren't we?!? Just wanted to let you know that my friend has informed me that HSpy seems to be accepting her votes again and Roof's count is going up (but GB's count is staying the same).

Well, the polls have closed. Our "friends" did some good work there in the last couple of days! The ending tally was: Gerard Butler - 1,389 (52%) Rufus Sewell - 776 (29%) James McAvoy - 231 (8%)

Lovely, I'll tell my friend to start voting again. It's addictive, almost like playing the slot machines and winning every time ( so my friend says).

Aaaah, well at least we can stop voting now!! And we got a mention and some nice pics of Rufus: My ladies really like Rufus Sewell, so he took second place with breathtaking 776 votes which would bring him victory in almost any other poll. We love RufRuf because he is always so very genuine and kind, and emits warmth even when he plays villains. He is also often very royal (THE ILLUSIONIST, TRISTAN AND ISOLDE, THE LAST KING, HELEN OF TROY) and we can't wait to see him in some great new film roles.hollywood-spy.blogspot.com/2010/09/gerard-butler-is-hollywood-spys-best.html RufRuf - how cute ;D
