The statements after were made in good faith as well. I dont think anyone was trying to stir anything up, just commenting on the article. All is good!

Absolutely kygal. As i said in my post, all the comments made up until that point were very carefully considered. What i was wary of however, was someone - and don't forget how easy it is for a random person to sign up here and start making inappropriate comments - stirring the pot. We had someone do that only a few weeks ago, so don't think it doesn't happen.
To Veerke, and the other people who posted, i didn't mean to point the finger in any way. I just thought it best that we stopped commenting on the article before something inappropriate WAS said.

Now this is a little bit random, but it's something i noticed the other day and forgot about until today. Because today is of course the first of November, or the first of "MO-vember" as Mr N gleefully informed me this morning. The month that in Oz, as in a few other countries around the world i think, our lovely men stop shaving their upper lips to piss off their wives raise funds and awareness of mens health issues. So you will have to put up with me complaining loudly for the next month!!! But in the meantime, have a look at these photos carefully. I thought the other day that there seems to be some upper lip action going on. Seeing as it's breakfast TV and Rufus is otherwise clean shaven, it seems that he hasn't done a very good job. Or he's resurrecting the "porn star" that we all enjoyed so much!!!   What do you all think - of course it could be my imagination, but as i sit here looking at Mr N's one day upper lip growth, it all looks remarkably similar!! Interesting possibiility! There are a few images where it clearly looks like something is starting. I looked at the red carpet photos again (what a chore!), and it looks about the same. I'm not sure how many hours apart those were taken. We need more evidence. GE2, please get cracking on the photo hunt.  If he really is participating, maybe he'll have some extra photos taken this month to increase awareness. I don't mind facial hair as much as you seem to Numbat, but I admit I like the full beard or goatee more than the 'stache. Why doesn't he consult us on these things? ;D |

Happy to encourage a new obsession, rue!!! And i don't mind facial her per se. I love a bit of Lord Marke stubble (particularly when accompanied by Lord Marke super short hair) or a Tom Builder beard, but i DETEST a moustache on my husband!!! He looks like a sleazy pimp!!! So i might have to negotiate the growing of a beard rather than a mo. I can cope with a Tom Builder badger beard, but not a mo!!! Mmmmm, i wonder if there are any caves around here! |

My hubs has a moustache all the time and the few times he shaved it off, his upper lip looked HUGE!!

After very carefully scrutinizing every pic of Rufus available to us (some MANY times), I've come to the conclusion that he's the type of guy that gets 5 o'clock shadow way before 5 o'clock. Maybe he appears clean-shaven right after shaving, but it's a lost cause after a couple of hours. I volunteer to check this out live and in person. We can't conclude anything until I've thoroughly researched this with him. ;D |

The weird thing is, in general I really really like 'taches (Robert Redford as The Sundance Kid started that off), but that look on Rufus is just wrong. So, PLEASE no return to the porn-star look! Wichi - I think it would be most unfair to leave you to do that on your own. I therefore volunteer my services to give assisitance ! LOL ! Poor Rufus he went from beautiful birthday greetings, well wishes and extreme levels of drooling to a sleazy pimp and a porn star in a matter of days.  I'm hoping it's the 5 o'clock shadow thing too - after all he was up late at the red carpet do and then at breakfast the following morning. I swear is a couple of pics I can see stubble on his cheeks and neck too. Maybe the night before's shave had to do for the breakfast show too. I'm pretty much a tashe hater. Particularly a tashe on it's own. They should be left to Freddie Mercury and the Village People ! I've threatened hubby if he ever grows one I'll shave it off in his sleep ;D |
