I also come into the started with EH on TV then every DVD I could lay my hands on (region 2 and then 1) even resorting to video. I'd love to see him on stage. Very envious of those that already have. Even more envious of those that got a hug (Only kidding) Having persuaded hubby to do an oil painting I've spent the last month changing my mind which photo I'd like him to base it on. Every time I choose one he prints it off in A4 I look at it for a few days then say not really Rufus enough I'll pick another. I seem to be all out of photo paper at the moment ! ;D

I fell in love with Roofie in Middlemarch when we were both young. I fell in lust with him in Petruchio (older and more experienced ) and it has been like a raging fire ever since, fuelled by joining this forum and even further by writing my own stories, and opening my photobucket account. Pathetic ,aren't I?

I've seen him only on DVD, TV and you tube. Started with Middlemarch, TOTS, Woodlanders, Zorro, AKT (I hope this abbreviation is not regarded as objectionable )........ I'm looking forward to see him on the big screen in "The Tourist", hopefully also out in the country where we live and not only in Munich.... Of course, seeing him live on stage would be a highlight.....

The very first time I saw Rufus was in A Knight's Tale. Then came Helen Of Troy, The Legend Of Zorro, Martha meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence and Bless The Child (in this film I really hated Rufus, because he was such a mad guy. Sorry Rufus, but otherwise a great job!)
I have to say that I wasn't very interest in him after those films, but he had something, something really special. I mean not only how he looks, it was his type and style of performences.
Later on came Eleventh Hour. In the past my Mother and I always said:"Hey that's the bad guy from A Knight's Tale!" but after Eleveth Hour we started saying:"Hey that's the good guy, the scientist from the Eleventh Hour!"
I only saw him on DVD, TV and you tube. And I'm also looking forward to see him on the big screen in "The Tourist". And I hope that one day I'll see him on stage in the theatre.

Of course germanlady, (sorry for all of you who have heard this before) I had just been to see Rock n Roll in London with my friend and we were stood near the backstage door. One of the actors came out (not Rufus ) and I said what a shame it wasn't Rufus (not expecting to see him) when suddenly there he was. I couldn't believe my eyes I was just going to tell my friend to come with me so she could take a picture on her phone when her phone rang (I told her to ignore it but she didn't ) so I went on my own. I touched his arm as he walked past and asked if I could take his photo. He looked at me smiled and then said okay but could i be quick because he was in a rush. as i took the photo with my phone I apologised for keeping him and he said no don't be and that he wished he could talk for longer. He asked me if I enjoyed the play (I'd finished taking the picture but he still stood there)Alice Eve was stood in the background and she reminded him that they were in a rush. He looked at his watch and grinned at me and said "I'm going to be in trouble now" then he winked and said bye before running across the road. It all feels like distant dream now but funnily I can still remember everything he said So only 2 of us were lucky ladies and saw Rufus on stage. Of course I'd have seen him on stage for Nocturne if he'd turned up ;D . Dippy you got a wink too !

I think we should do this again so I can include seeing Roof on the big screen, in a theatre for the Q & A, in a bar and doing a reading in a church not to mention on a lecturn (I think that's the technical term !) ;D All I need now is a play.

I've only seen him on DVD and on youtube so far, but I have succeeded in talking Mr. KMK to go watch "The Tourist" on the big screen after Christmas I would love to see him on stage and, of course, in person (even if I guess that'll never happen, as it is unlikely to bump into him somewhere in provincial northern Bavaria ...)
