So I was secretly rejoicing when he asked "Can we watch that? Catherine Zeta-Jones is in it!" ;D 1 - I'm impressed you have him trained to ask you if he can watch stuff! 2 - I imagine you giving a long drawn-out, weary, eye-rolling sigh and saying "Oh, if we have to...." Of course, the moment he saw Rufus, the game would have been up!

I watched The Legend of Zorro for the first (and last ) time this weekend. Wouldn´t have watched it if it weren´t for Rufus. He´s gorgeous as always - I don´t even find the wig so bad - but I watched it in German and so I couldn´t hear his voice (As you were writing, it didn´t seem to be so good). The plot was sometimes quite funny and Rufus made the best out of his role of Armand. Now on to some different Rufus film and bye Armand!

Armand's accent must be the most unconvincing I've ever heard from Rufus.

Then sometime later No.2 son wanted to watch it. Do you know ? It wasn't quite as bad as I remembered Aw! Kate !It wasn't that bad.

I don't like to be about something other people may enjoy, but I would say this is my least fave Rufus movie. I even put EO ahead of this one.

I'm still 'ticking off' all of Rufus' films and watched Extreme Ops two weeks ago, and Zorro last Sunday. Hmm - difficult to say. I think they're only worth watching because of Rufus. He's more natural looking in EO, and has too much make up in Zorro. On the other hand, the wig (!)and the French accent plus the make up, make watching Zorro quite fun (in the weirdest way)!!! And as someone's already said Rufus shows up Banderas: despite the wig and make up, he can't help but be handsome!! ;-)

I even put EO ahead of this one. Me too - he looks a whole lot better in that one! But midoro is definitely right in that Rufus upstages Antonio even in that silly wig and the overdone make-up.

Zorro: What's happening here? I am bound to be popular! I am Zorro. Armand: You won't make friends on the Rooftop unless... Zorro: Unless? Catherine Zeta-Jones: Oh, come on, Antonio, you can not be serious! This is a ball, Zorro can not wear an I RUFUS SEWELL T-shirt!

Haha - very funny, Adina! midoro is definitely right in that Rufus upstages Antonio even in that silly wig and the overdone make-up. I've seen even Rufus cringe when presented with a pic of himself as Armand to sign! I reckon Banderas insisted that Rufus was de-prettied - but it's not all about the looks, Antonio!

A stealth cap-it, hiding in one of the most neglected "Works" threads! Great job, Adina! LOZ was on tv here a couple weeks ago too, and I watched a bit of it. The wig is bad, but it can't diminish the power of Rufus's facial expressions. His expression when Catherine says she has to go to the bathroom during the proposal scene is great. I am THE WIG! I will not be denied! I will not be defeated! I will find an actor who cannot overcome my hideousness!
