May I suggest that we make a separate box for Members' birthdays , instead of tucking it away inside the Members box where Birthday Greetings can get hidden by the next different post.
I was away when it was Kerry's birthday and almost missed it when I got back.
I 'm sure other Rooftoppers have done the same.

Good idea that way we are more likely to see the birthdays and post a greeting.

Well, it's Uke's call as to whether we have a separate board for birthdays - although there is a logic to having them in the Members section, as well as the introduction threads.
However, even with a separate birthday board, there would still be the problem that any given individual's birthday will be missed, because only the latest post shows on the front page of the forum.
As with all the various different sections here, maybe the thing to do (especially if you're not on here every day), is to click on the board title to look at all the threads in that section. You could be missing all sorts of goodies if you only ever click on a post from the front page!
