I can only say: you nailed it PrairieGirl !!! the bridge scene was my first love encounter with his being then came the "yelling at Tristan" scene that ripped my guts out...no actor had made me feel such pain of love and betrayal (I showed the clip to my husband while he was driving and he literaly jumped out his seat..that's how powerful that yell was! thank God he wore the seat belt...lol) I saw Bless the Child, The Knights Tale and Legend of Zorro prior but never caught me that they're the same actor though I recognized all of them baddies were very well acted because despite their bads, his potrayals made me have empathy for them. All said...he knows what he's doing.
So, Thumbs Up from me on your blog and keep em coming (:

But that's OK, hopefully over time I'll learn and catch up with you! Judging by your brilliant post PrairieGirl, you may someday surpass us. Welcome to the madhouse! I can only say: you nailed it PrairieGirl !!! the bridge scene was my first love encounter with his being then came the "yelling at Tristan" scene that ripped my guts out...no actor had made me feel such pain of love and betrayal Hi, sewellme! Nice to hear your Rufus history. Eleventh Hour was the first time I noticed Rufus, but there was no turning back after that. Lord Marke is one of my favorite roles too. He's just magnetic, and as you say, heartbreaking. Please consider starting a thread in the Members section to introduce yourself, so everyone can say "hi."

Thank you Rueful...I'd like to do so after this one. I love EH and enjoyed all those kookieness (hope I spelled it right?) That Rufus had mentioned and yes I was dreadful when it was cancelled. I'm longing to see born to seed and amoni especially and of course the next creative productions of all of you very talented Rufian Ladies.

Hey sewell me, oh, what kinship we have, getting stripped of our Rufus virginity in the very same scene - love it! And yes, when he lets Tristan have it was another one that knocked me out, and when he didn't even say a word to Isolde, his face and body language said it all. I've watched T&I more than three times and the commentaries with it twice, and could watch it again and again. Oh, do watch Gone to Seed, he goes from a baddie to a goodie in that, in more ways than one!
Glad you like my post, however, I was just a guest blogger. The site was started by my good friend Ruth and she invited me to do a post for Ruf's birthday this year. But keep checking out FlixChatter, it's a fabulous movie blog and Rufus doesn't make a move, career-wise, without Ruth keeping up with it there.
stama, so happy to hear you liked the post. Don't hesitate to comment on it in FlixChatter; Ruth likes to hear from newbies and will appreciate you letting her know directly that you enjoyed it.

PrairieGirl; I wouldn't even know the difference of a guest blogger and the blogger...that's how iliterate I am about those wonderful technology phenomenon available out there, I am just so happy to find a shrine where I could keep up with Rufus' works and so happy to know the talented you and others here. I will keep an eye to the blog and say hi to Ruth...
Anyway; how cold is Minnesota at the moment ?

Hey vmaciv, so glad you found Rufus on Eleventh Hour, like so many others. I hope he knows how many new fans he has because of that show, I know it wasn't his favorite. But no matter where you first discovered Rufus, you never forget! And yes, The Rooftop is THE place to be for everything Ruf.
sewellme, no matter what you know or don't know about blogging or being online, I just didn't want to take all the credit for Ruth's incredible blog, I could never do what she does! The main thing was to do exactly what you said, anything to enjoy more Rufus! BTW, it's actually been very nice here, mid 50s, and above average for a long time now.

and I hope to hear more new works ups ahead, PG...of course he deserves finishing his vacation first.
(Its seemed funny that while I'm thinking the warmer fall we're experiencing has some thing to do with global warming; the commercial box under the rooftop sign reads "fight global warming.com")
Here too! My grass still looks green when they should be brown and the roses still blooming. Not that I'm complaining for the nice weather but something is really wrong. ( I feel like that Jacob Hood instinct kicked in to prove it scientificly)
Oh Jacob, where are you when we need you?

I discovered Rufus with EH also. I sometimes wonder if or when I would have discovered him if it wasnt for that show, and what I would have missed out on. Oh well...he certainly has me now! I bet there will be a new surge of fangirls with POTE.

Kygal, I've been wondering when a post-POTE surge of interest and new members was going to happen too...are they just lurking? Say Hello. We don't bite (much) Sewell, nice as it is now, I've heard the meteorologists have predicted a colder and snowier winter here in MN because of El Nina. Hope they are wrong- 'cause "colder than usual" in MN can be beyond-nasty-cold. (Thank God for my stash of Rufus flicks to keep me "warm" through the winter ) My Mom who lives in Vancouver has said they've had super freaky weather there quite a bit the last few years, probably due like you said to the global warming effect.

Oh my...indeed that's not good! My beloved friend (God bless him) lived in MN so I'm feeling you ladies and I certainly hope his flicks REALLY bring you warmth and coziness.
What is really concerning is that for the last 2 years; the reproduction cycle of wildlife animals is kinda out of whack, I saw many youngens already out there in the winter when they shouldn't be then they died before reaching spring because they could't survive the cold. I'd love to do a loop on Canada ended in Nova Scotia....someday. Perhaps then swim to England ;D
