I'm not sure if we already have this or not, but it's a PDF of the production notes for the film (copied from a Ciaran Hinds fansite), with several quotes from Rufus: www.ciaranhinds.eu/pdf/seaprod.pdfI love his description of how the Graces' visits to the beach reminded him of his childhood in Wales: "...we'd sing songs in the car and fight in the back. That slightly mad mismatch of a family" and "We'd plan the night before when we were going to the beach in Wales. Then the clouds would flock over. No one would mention it. You'd hope silently the sun would break out. Sometimes it would." I can imagine him and Caspar getting dragged off to the beach come rain or shine, because that's what had been planned!

LOL GE2. Thanks for finding. I would always put the cooler in the middle of the back seat to separate the kids.

Well acted and beautiful scenery. I read the book so I knew the storyline. Loved Carlos Grace...what a loon. To me he was a comic relief. Wish there was more of him! I would recommend it.
Still hoping for a romantic comedy in his future!

Glad you got to see it at last, Kygal, and that you enjoyed it so much. Carlo's a great character, isn't he - I think he let Rufus bring out his own sense of humour and impishness. Oh, and ditto to the romantic comedy!

He has played some intense characters lately. Think comedy!
