I'm already hunting it, actually, but without success so far. At least I got someone to have a search for it in London, as I couldn't find it on-line yet.

It's hard to find it. There is a website with a lot of his films, but they are all out of stock so we have to continue the hunting. For me there's another problem, the code. I need code 2, but a lot of his films are available with code 1. That's so frustrating.

I've mentioned this software in other threads, but if you have a PC you can buy some software online called AnyDVD (by a company called SlySoft) that allows you to play any region DVD on your computer. That's how I watch Region 2 discs. I don't know if there is any software like it for Mac, but it's worth searching for! Edited to add: It looks like all of you Germans are out of luck with AnyDVD. Wikipedia reports that it is illegal to advertise, sell or lend that program in Germany.

Welcome to the board, kissmekate! Love your name, too. It reminds my of the musical, I've seen an excellent performance of it at the musical branch of a school! As far as the region problem with DVDs is concerned, I'm sorry to confirm that as far as I know it's illegal to use it in Germany.

I just noticed that I have managed to write 999 postings in a bit over two months. Oops! ;D I'd like to dedicate no. 1000 to a big fat THANK YOU to all you wonderful girls here, for the warm welcome and many lovely chats, lots of laughs, loads of Rufalicious pictures and for this really great community in general. Thanks also to the admins and moderators for providing this marvellous place to go on and on and on about the man of our dreams. A very big hug for each and every one of you! , looks like I've seduced that one mightily ... she's developed a very bad case of Rufusitis with no chance of ever being cured ... but she doesn't seem to mind and neither do I ...

Oooh yay! Congratulations on #1000! It does seem pretty easy to rack up a bunch of posts on here in a relatively short amount of time, doesn't it? lol I don't have quite your prowess, though.

Welcome to the board, kissmekate! As far as the region problem with DVDs is concerned, I'm sorry to confirm that as far as I know it's illegal to use it in Germany. When I buy a DVD player (it's the 4th one) I always ask to make it region free. If you cannot buy it in Germany, hop over the border. Although I'm quite sure that region free DVD players are sold in Germany too. I always buy a Philips and you *only* have to mess up the software.
